I don't have Sky but i quite like her from what i've seen while watching a few live streams lately (Cardiff, P'boro and tonight), its Kelvins love-in with that bloody molecam that makes me cringe -

I don't have Sky and usually can't be bothered watching many Gp's etc on a live stream online but i did last night and i'm glad i did, i thoroughly enjoyed that, top stuff! -
Well done Jason Thats the first time i've used the Justin.tv link, must remember that for future reference

Gp Qualifyer Updates?
falkirkbandit replied to iceandspeedway's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Thats a great site, what time does it start, 8pm our time? -
Thats what my asst manager said when i showed him this earlier today at work, he's from Canterbury originally and knows the area well, he remembers hearing the speedway but he never went.

That sounds great Norman, my girlfriend was up staying at the weekend just passed and she knew i was reading the book so i showed her a few pics on the Defunct Speedway site of New Cross and how you can still make out the shape of the bend on the common ground as it is now, shes a Berwick fan too but younger than me, she was amazed at some of the crowds speedway used to get when i pointed it out from the book! We just went A-Z really through the tracks, she was amazed at the crowd being on the inside of the track on the High Beech ones though haha, when we got to the one of "young Norman legtrailing", i said, "there you go, thats the chap that wrote the book i'm reading" I'd not seen High Beech lately until your recent-ish pics on there though, very sad, i'd love to go one day though, just to say i've been. Good luck with Tom's bio and i'm sure you'll do him justice, i'll look forward to it! All the best, Marty

Excellent book Norbold, i didn't get round to starting it until late last week and finished it after my tea tonight, i thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to the Tom Farndon bio when its out, he sounded some rider in the book. Marty

Well, from absolutely nowhere, my copy arrived from the wholesalers just two minutes ago in amongst a box of graphic novels, i thought the order had been cancelled too, delighted!

Is it, och thats a shame
-
I remember when i asked a while back where the track was, someone told me, i've never driven through Linlithgow, only passed through on the train on my way to Edinburgh but i'd like to visit the site one day if theres anything left to see.
-
Yeah i wish it was still going too, i was still living up in Inverness at the time it was operating, a real shame as its not far from Falkirk at all, just a few miles.

All of them! I dread to think how many times i've went through my Homes of British Speedway book just looking at all the pictures and reading about them. I'd particularily have loved to have been able to see Hyde Road, Powderhall & Wembley though!
