Orions spot on. If a team sewed up the league in july A, there would be nothing for clubs to ride for, and B attendance's would drop like a stone. Which would you prefere, a play off system that keeps the season alive or a dead duck.

Im not jealous at all darling why should i be yes its a good track i just don't think they do enough promotional work and yet some of the clowns on here are making it all sound super dupa, it ain't. As i said people have far more things to do nowadays compared to the 60's and 70's. You have to keep sticking it under peoples noses. Thats why Matt gets the crowds the sponsors which he works hard to get and in turn brings success. Its really not rocket science. And before anybody screams, we do have a premier league fooball club just up the road and another 25 miles further on. But if your not prepared to work then you won't get the success. It won't just come to you..And in BV 's case with the council pulling the strings doesn't help.. But nobodys going to agree with me, of course they won't. It doesn't matter how good the stadium is or how good the racing is, if people dont want it you won't get them in people have so much more to do nowadays that they had in the 70's and 60's. Even with it being on sky tonight if you don't get a decent crowd then you may as well pack up. But as per usual sky will focus on the packed bits to make it look good. but they will also eventually show angles which will be a dead give away.
