Excuse me if im wrong here, but has there been a public fan meeting re this new stadium, with the planners and Swindon promotion ?

Im sure somehow it will be proped up again next season. But as i said on another thread, yes squads is the way to go, but implimenting is won't be that straightforward.

Unfortunately mate many clubs are dictated by Dog racing.. Not at all, its down to those "less better off promotions" as you put it to go out and promote. go out of there way to attract more in the way of sponsorship. Just because we have a successful club, that doesn't mean to say everything is just put in the clubs lap, Matt still has to work dam hard to attract and keep sponsors. But the biggest barrier will be implimenting a squad system.

Does everybody have the same outlook on life in your part of the World ?

You would want the 1-2 bends laid and rolled way before the season starts so it beds in properly. We had the same problem after the 0-11 season, we had everything re cambered we got the straights done and bends 1-2, then it absolutely threw it down for a fair while. 3-4 were done, but not as good as we would have wanted it. But as it happens it worked out not to badly in the end once the track eventually dried and the roadgrader was put round. Sadly, thats the Winter for you, its not easy.

A squad systems is the way to go, but how do you going about implimenting it ? Easier said than done.

Cliffboy i was also at the meeting. IMO it was part Bradys nievity, he shouldn't have been where he was imo, and he's brought it on himself. But he will learn from that mistake and in the long run will make him a far better rider. Hopefully.

Gem if i were you i would ring the stadium and get conformation, then if the car park hitlers say no then you can quote them differently. Dogs are more than welcome at Poole, so long as they are on a lead.
