  1. After the last heat of the play off final, then, perhaps, you can open those Beers. Then, you will have the biggest party in the OTA club house its ever seen. Untill then, keep them iced!!
  2. Nothings been won yet mate. I'd keep those beers on ice, for the time being..
  3. I asked the same question, but nobody seems to know. Sounds about right for Speedway..
  4. Stupid way to run a play off system if you ask me. So i am assuming its run on the same line as as a league meeting and Somerset can gain a point at Newcastle? IF, that is the case then they have a dam good chance. IMO the league is more important than the Cup, but need to go up their in a positive frame of mind, to win the meeting.
  5. Providing Somerset have a full and fit team, they have a great chance.
  6. I don't think Newcastle will pick Edinburgh if they have the choise of thr two,, i would suspect they will pick Worky.
  7. Its on this thread mate. And should be on your website home page.
  8. Nope your right, but he deserved a few more points for his efforts. in the wrong place at the wrong time in a couple of heats.
  9. Ive got broad shoulders, i can take the mocking. Just my opinion. IF, its a Somerset Newcastle PL final, providing none of the Somerset boys picks up and injury, i say you, Somerset will beat them over the two legs.
  10. But tell me if im wrong. Didn't Somerset need to get all 3 points on friday? And If they was in the position to give Worky a Tonking wouldn't it have helped their cause points difference wise as to where they finish in the table, as the others have meetings in hand, and it well may go down to points difference as to where they finish? No? And yes i can also go back to the days of Martin Ashby Barry Briggs, but you still sound older than me!!
  11. Great result for the Rebels last night. Very impressed with Alex Davies performance showed plenty of agression off the start and plenty of speed. Starting to show the sort of form that persuaded the somerset promotion to buy his contract from Newport. Good performance from Kyle Newman also, showed a lot more agression off the start into turn one, but still has the odd rush of blood to the head, sometimes needs to realise there's four laps to a race. Both lads are coming on well, but although both lads would be capable of steping up to the EL i feel both would benifit from another year at Somerset in the PL. Very suprised the way Worky just rolled over, but 3 good points for the Rebels and a little help on the points difference front. Thery now have to wait and see where it takes them.
  12. Thats not very nice, As i said im entitled to my opinion.
  13. Everybodys entitled to an opinion mate, if you do like it don't come on here. You have a choice!!
  14. Jeez PR, i wondered when you was going to start this thread. Rebels need all 3 points tomorrow night first and formost. But if they find themselves in a position to give Worky a Tonking they must grab it with both hands, it will certainly help the points differnce.
  15. So, its taken Ez all season to get the track back to how he wants it. No suprise really. There's an old saying, if you have good staff you keep them, your only as good as your staff. And without the likes of Ez, speedway would not run
  16. Yep great result for the Rebels tonight. Certainly helps the points difference. Another win like that next friday would be greatfully accepted im sure.
