  1. 16 Speedway superstars, where? Superstars is an over used expression. We have a Grand Prix series, why the hell would riders want to take on more. The schedual is already over the top... What a load of rubbish. Really, that i would like to see. Believe me, it won't happen...
  2. Maybe because you can get a deal to watch 1-2 on your laptop i believe. So the answer to that question is, put the GP's on one or two... Simples.
  3. Although all this said, im very very suprised that Sky will not do the British GP as a one off in the series, given its actually in this country... Yes i can understand if they don't want to renew their contract due to cut backs, But they will feel the wrath from speedway fans, and i do feel they would be cutting their nose off to spite their face by not at least showing the British GP.
  4. So mr Sky from Edinbourgh, it seems the majority on here are going to cancel Their Sky subscriptions because we have no GP's this year. I don't have a dislike of Sky, but you certainly have a general consensus on here now!!
  5. This is starting to make me larf. Electric Speedway Bikes... yeh right, ok...
  6. And smell that has never dissapeared or been any different. Can see it now, Boffin, ang on a minute, i'l just un-plug the bike, and start it up... Whuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Promoter, Jeezs, thats quiet, Boffin, its Electric. Only one small drawback, when you finish a race you have to plug it in to a socket to charge it up for the next race, just hope nobody breaks the tapes and goes off 15 metres or comes off!!
  7. Ang on, Brakes and Headlights as well. Don't forget the indicators when riders turn left!!!
  8. Then your very easily pleased. Speedway should be Speedway, no subtitutes should be allowed.
  9. Ow gawd, don't give the Boffins any more amunition.
  10. Sadly thats is more to the point. In todays climate people now pick and choose their meetings. Sadly gone have the days where we at poole had 6 deep on the bends in the early 70's, although we still get good crowds for this day and age, and the racing can still be very good, but the crux of it is all round cost. I still say promoters need to make more of an effort to attract kids through the gates, and a little more of a concession for the OAP's, maybe the same addmision price but chuck them a programme. What i will say is our riders are very accomodating when it comes to the kids, and sign Autograpghs have photo's taken at will, and talk to the kids, But with rising costs in fuel addmission programmes Speedway Star and food, etc its now sadly out of reach for many fans to attend every week. in a day and age where speedway needs all the fans it can get.. Oh, and i nearly forgot. Then there's them rules!!
  11. Towcester Opening a Track. Jeez that will be a stiff old track. Hope the Dogs can stay well!!! At least they won't have Jockeys up to Wrestle them to the floor.
  12. Just can't help yourselves can ya. And for what its worth, not that you'd care, i think he will attain roundabout his starting average.
  13. Don't make such a big thing out of it. Ive changed it, just for you!!! You knew who i mean't. Yeh, i would agree, the lad has the abillity, he did show that in places last season. But if he can attain his average then i would think there would be no complaints, but if he can put just a bit on it i think everybody would be even happier.
  14. Totally agree. I don't know a whole lot about Stefen Neilsen but Tom Perry should maintain that average, and i would like to see Kyle put a point and half on his.
