Thank you, so do i..
-
Well it does and it doesnt to be honest, look at the coverage football gets compared to Speedway. especially when sky took on football.
-
Yeh they can mate, but as i said, the weather plays a big part just as working commitments do. We know it rains a lot in Manchester but this is the same country wide. All clubs im sure you will see have empty seats at some point, but im sure those seats were paid for just the occupiers dont turn up for what ever reason. Which doesn't help the casual fan who would like to go.
-
Thank you Bluepanther. Yeh the weather wil depict who goes and who doesnt, but in the main, especially in the premier league grounds are pretty much a sell out. I mean, i would love to go and see Bournemouth at some point, but you will never get a ticket for love nor money, unless you know somebody who knows somebody..
-
Oh Steve that was a big below the belt mate. Seriously, speedway needs all the fans it can get. Thing is, speedway is not promoted like the way football is. Look what happened to football when sky started promoting it..
-
Thank you Booey Boy, much appreciated..
-
Thank you Hyderd, so do i. ive been in a nightmare for 8 weeks, and i just pray it comes back clear. Ive had several MRI scans its not being put in the machine is the problem, its the 30-40 minutes duration of clunk clunk clunk, chugger chugger chugger. they are a wonderful inovation, they can see EVERYTHING, xrays are good, but these are different class. i still remember seeing the first MRI scanner being lowered through the roof into place at poole. CT scanners are an advance on xrays. good detail but not in the class of an MRI scanner.
-
Yep step by step mate, and like you i hope the scan comes back clear. the tumour was completely benign and was all removed nothing had spread, the scan will take about half hour in March. MRI scans are noisey so out with the ear plugs and ear muffs.. Half an hour of clunk clunk clunk chugger chugger chugger,..

Yeh.. this country has gone political correctness mad.
-
Good point mate, but i expect we will have extra banners made for the centre green.
-
Absolutely rediculous whats wrong with adding a bit of glamour to the procedings, political correctness gone mad, what is the world coming to..
-
Im sure a lot of clubs will be in the same boat mate, every club will have to cut costs. Every club has to be accountable for there own actions, and if it means going back to Bibs and ditching kevlars then so be it. We still have a lot of loyal sponsors at Poole, and also a main team sponsor, so its not all that bad.
-
He can mate, thats all that will be required of him. If the others come to the party and forfill there potential which i would like to think they will, then they can carry him. But like i said, im pleased he has another club/night it will make him a better rider, and we hopefully will see the benifit.
-
Thanks mate, everything going slowly, days are good nights still a bit dodgy. Plenty of worms in my head, nerve endings still a long way to go, but i have the scan on march 12th, and i will be a bag of nerves..
-
Im pleased that this has now been anounced, it was a no brainer for the lad. The extra meetings will do him good and make him a better rider as ive said. Welcome back James.. We have a premiership title to win !!!
-
Im sure it will be James mate, but i would suspect he's looking for more sponsors Sheffields a long way from near Dorchester/poole. And even though Matt has offered him a bit more he's still on limited points money he will need more help.
-
I agree Steve, it can only be good for British speedway in the long run.
-
Thank you Sid, im working hard to get better, the days continue to improve but the nights are still iffy, Have the big scan in Marc, i will be a little shaky. The problem this country has is the money situation Sid, to attract these big names back you would need sponsors to chip in to pay there points money. Very few clubs can afford it now. Thats why im guessing the 8 pt rule was brought in..
-
If CVS confirmed that Steve then thats good enough. We still have a splattering of top class riders here tho, but a few more wouldnt go amiss, providing there pay demands are rasonable.
-
And plenty of laps on P&P day and Chris and Neil helping with lines will go a long way to helping.. when they go away the same applies, but all the boys are savy so it won't take them long to work out set ups and track characteristics,.
-
Correct mate, any of the top 5 could end up as No, imo there is that much improvement in all of them. Szczpaniack cannot do any worse than last time and is open to improvement and Kasper has an awful lot of untaped potential. Josh will make a solid second string, and a fit and focused Chris will be hard to shove off the No 1 berth. This team is potentially very good, but everybody needs to stay sound. but that also applies to all teams..
-
I think James would be a fool not to take it. Improved terms two nights of speedway way will certainly benifit him and make him as better rider. Should he say no, which would suprise me, Josh would be an able replacement.
-
Hi mate, Brady will have a good season all being well. He will continue to improve in his own time, he's a slow burner.. But whether he will improve enough to be top of the pile remains to be seen. He has to curb his enthusiaum at the gate, that cost him the Aussie title. And refs will pick it up..
-
He maybe 30 mate but yes, you will see.. As for Vaculik he's a good addition to the PL, and i expect him to have a good season. Matts a big admirer of him.
-
Chris has had his problems, and it takes its toll. A fit and focused Chris will finish top of the PL standings and push these upstarts in the GP series. That is what i expect him to do. form is tempary class is permanant..
