  1. Its noit pie in the sky. Matt wanted to sign him, but he had to many commitments. We have a potentially a very good side this season, lets think about that eh..
  2. He had to many other commitments. Dont think somethink that is not there.
  3. Because Dudek didnt want to commit at the time. Brady is a slow burner and will continue to improve. I can not see him going anywhere in the forseeable future.
  4. I would assume the stadium owners, but im sure that Clive will verify this..
  5. Leigh was a class act, he rode so well with Tony in 0-3. Same as Chris and Darcy who's career as you say was horribly cut short. Affectionally know to me as the telepathic turbo twins.
  6. Leigh was also predominantly an inside rider, which didnt really help his cause.
  7. Have to agree with your comments mate. Although i just think the track should have been looked at not long after the season finished, when Glyn had finished what he was doing. It doesnt give it much time to bed in, Snow, we rarely get it down here as you know, the rain wont be a problem it will help ease the base, providing we get a decent dry spell temperatures go up a bit and a bit of sun between now and P&P day. although it wont be this week.. Do i hate the winter nowadays..
  8. I wouldnt go as far as to say a couple of years mate...
  9. They do mate, quite right, but you do need good sponsorship and get the experience by riding the standard, its the only way these kids will improve but not to disolusion them., and thats why i say Dans got to keep doing what he's doing and keep banging on doors. but ive known some kids who have natural abillity and could go far but dont get the backing. Ive not seen this Brennan Thomas ride, but as you say, Kyle Bickerly has the potential.
  10. I agree with some of your points, re Bewley, but i also agree with Sid. Appart from natural progression, he needs the sponsorship to move forward, but like many young brit lads who have gone by the wayside, they struggle to carry on due to lack of sponsorship, Dan has to keep banging on doors. but he has a hell of a way to go before he reaches proper international level.. Fricke is a good rider, but also very inconsistant, one swan doesnt make a summer, and imo in the long term Brady will be the better rider..I agree wth Hydred, Crump and Adams were much of a muchness, but Jason got the breaks Leigh didn't. Leigh was probably one of the best riders around not to be world champion.
  11. Everybody is entitled to there opinion mate, i believe Brady will eventually be a far better rider than fricke, Brady is a slow burner, and will continue to improve. It would be nice to see a young Brit become a good rider, but does he have the ambition? Sadly, most British riders nowadays don't, and just pick up there weekly cheque and that will do.
  12. And how old is Brady? Gurrantee Brady will wipe the floor with him in 2-3 years time. But he must curb his enthusiasum at the gate, thats what cost him the Aussie championship.
  13. Mate, its just our opinion, Fricke maybe better than Brady at the moment, but i guranttee that Brady will way surpass him in 2-3 years time..
  14. A full fit and focused and injury free Chris will do. He will also give these upstarts a run for ther money in the GP's..Form is temparary class is permanant
  15. All Chris has had in the last few years is personal issues and injuries, as i said, clear them and you will see a different Chris Holder..even at 30.
  16. Everybody is entitled to there opinion mate, but as ive said a million times, he maybe 30, but a fit focused and issue free Chris Holder will do a lot better than many think...
  17. Almost right there mate. Brady will continue to improve, he's a slow burner. Josh will be a decent second string, Chris will top the averages, as ive said many times, a fit and focused Chris Holder will top the premiership standings and make a big hole in the GP series.Linus is very keen to be part of the poole set up, he WANTS, to ride for us, I personally think he is a good signing and will attain his average. Kasper could be a bit of class, he has a very good style, and is a confident lad. If Mateus stays clear of injury he could be a trump card, James will improve, the second night of speedway will do him the world of good.. But, like every team, as ive said, you have to stay sound and come to the party, If we do, this is potentially the best team we've had for quite a few years...
  18. Perhaps he cannot think of anything to make up. Lets face it, if Steve o can say its all above board then he will have a problem.thinking of anything...
  19. But the old adage being, we must stay sound. the potential is there, but they have to put it down on the track..
  20. Mate you know as well as i do, Matt works in advance, This team should be very good if they all stay sound, lets get this season out the way first, finishing in October !!
  21. You said it yourself mate, its within the rules, you admit it yourself, thats good enough..And Matt always does his homework, and that makes it right....And yes im still on the mend, im not out the woods yet..No wind up here mate....
  22. yes that is right, its a cost cutting measure. I spoke to Giles about an ago, and he's fine, no problem..
  23. Thank you...Neil also knows Giles release was a cost cutting measure, there is no malice, Giles and Matt have been friends for donkeys years, but clearly pinge doesnt know what he's talking about.Every club in the country will have to cut to keep there club afloat.
  24. I think we would know more down here than you would mate... But even that wont be enough for you...so stick to your own club, who ever it is.
  25. So i see, Greggy would be a most welcome addition.
