  1. oh i agree, i worked for BT when i rode and used holiday, i'm just pointing out that i've had these discussions with riders in the past
  2. i think people underestimate rider power, there will be quite a few that say they can't ride unless they double up/down. if it's only for one team then riders will want paying so much more
  3. SoN2 will be a Denmark win, expecting the same team they put in the U19s final a couple of weeks ago, very very tough
  4. i said to Buster years ago they need a cricket style sun screen, could be a few quid but would save a lot of hassle. Although people buy beer and burgers during a sun break ...
  5. he pulled out of his last ride in Germany saturday, track far too rough for his shoulder
  6. every track has it's merits, even Plymouth (did i just say that!!), and it's riders that can adapt will always be better .. no point having all big fast tracks like Poland
  7. when riders were relatively local and not coming in from all parts of the country/europe
  8. so the best part of £200 for the ferry doesn't put people off???
  9. there was various chat about a location but probably best to come from official sources
  10. i think it's more correct to say he didn't look comfortable
  11. Oxford will only be 2 teams next year, another gone from the PL
  12. i still think the downfall of British speedway started when Rye House were allowed to track foreign riders. if we still had a division of British & Commonwealth riders we'd be in a much healthier position. if, and from what i'm hearing is true, it goes to one league next year, then riders will say thay can't make ends meet if they can't double up. in my day we had jobs and took one bike to a meeting. so many riders never use their spare bike anyway, they jump on a team mates bike when they have a spare in the pits! tracks should be allowed to ride on a night that suits THEM, not be forced into changes. and years ago when the sport was successful here, how many teams raced on a Saturday. not having time for supporters to go to away meetings due to work etc has had a serious knock on
  13. it was definitely 'fun' driving from Trelleborg avoiding all the moose
  14. Gislaved is a good place to have it, pits plenty big enough too and haven't they recently refurbed the fence or something?
  15. Kelvin always seems a bit behind the action, but when you're in London and only seeing what we see it's going to happen
  16. has to be one league in the UK next year. wonder what will happen in Poland when sponsorship dries up
  17. seen Nagel abroad a couple of times, could be a shrewd signing
  18. Sammy Miller is such a good bloke, great museum too
