  1. Mark Loram was number 7 for Hackney in the top league in 1987, they came to Canterbury for a challenge in the opening meeting. I know he scored at least 1 point as he beat me in heat 2 (i fell off while ahead of him). Regarding Kings Lynn, the track used to be used almost every day when Darcy Ward and Kozza Smith lived at the stadium and John Oliver was local, with plenty of open practice days. The Danes used to have their pre-season practice there as well as the young Brits too
  2. actually getting paid and knowing you'll be there or thereabouts talks
  3. i've seen Hausl a number of times abroad, i'm not sure he'll be as good as people think, although at a couple of tracks he has impressed me
  4. remember there's not a full week break next year for the SoN
  5. wonder if they'll get the season done in a reasonable time so playoffs can be earlier in the year
  6. with top 4 making the playoffs no doubt 🙄
  7. throws a spanner in the works .. but FIM Europe don't pay very well
  8. i really enjoyed it in Varkaus, a nightmare to get to but was worth it
  9. have you ever been to cycle speedway?
  10. all these signings and we can't even decide how many leagues we have
  11. definitely NOT the case, but they DO pay on time, and that goes a long way these days
  12. going by the last couple of seasons that's where he'll be with Poole every other week
  13. maybe the top league with 5 teams will be rebranded to the Super League for extra sponsorship?
  14. Buster was looking at buying the club a couple of years ago to keep the league going .. problem is, if it's someone new coming in they don't get any say in what happens at the BSPL
  15. well done to Tony Gaul (a Chelsea fan) for helping them out
  16. i hear BV need a 2 event weekend to make it pay, even if it's a GP and A.N Other event .....
  17. maybe Zach/Danny are waiting to see on the 7th rider, if it doesn't work out then Zach may stay?
  18. there will be a lot more riders than that attending, will be a good night as always
  19. oh i agree, i worked for BT when i rode and used holiday, i'm just pointing out that i've had these discussions with riders in the past
  20. i think people underestimate rider power, there will be quite a few that say they can't ride unless they double up/down. if it's only for one team then riders will want paying so much more
  21. SoN2 will be a Denmark win, expecting the same team they put in the U19s final a couple of weeks ago, very very tough
