  1. i took pictures of people on my table and people i was chatting with through the evening ... sure Mrs Norbold had her camera there though so she might have some. was great to see loads of people i knew and had a really good time right from getting to the hotel lunchtime, to leaving it on Sunday, even though it took us about an hour to get out the hotel already got our invite for next years Scottish dinner in Glasgow next February with the 2007 VSRA president, with the only worry being Ivan said i have to wear a kilt me in a skirt ... not quite sure i have the legs for it
  2. i told her what i thought of her outfit on Saturday ... should have come along and told her yourself though. was still waiting for an answer to an earlier question but you seem to have dived out of it
  3. the only disappointment i had this weekend was not getting to meet hairy4ever at Coventry ... i was so looking forward to it
  4. my pictures can be found HERE .. i have some from my digital and some from my 35mm so plenty there. the evening started with a pre-meal party in my parents room with plenty of visitors, and continued when we got to our table where we carried on with having a great time. was happy to spend the evening chatting to so many people, taking lots of photos. p.s Tracey Bennett ... is there anyone you don't bloody know??!! and mum ... thanks for the HH, all the extras made a lot of difference
  5. if you knew she was on 6 then you would have been told i was on 25 by the way, Ivan Mauger was on 8, so was Barry Briggs ... but you probably already knew that

  8. you know me Kevin, i'm not normally one to have an argument or say anything out of place. just happened to have the argument as they were Penhall supporters and i was there supporting Kenny Carter. oh, and i didn't like the accents was funny though, it was boiling hot and i was in shorts and t-shirt and they were wearing their big thick green Cradley jackets, with scarves etc ... must have absolutely stunk in there

  17. true ... Nielsen was the better 'all round' rider, but Gundersen was the one to have for world final night. Nielsen looked more comfortable and had a style you couldn't miss whereas Gundersen would adapt his for each situation as it presented itself. Two great riders though, and i feel privelidged to have seen both through their careers.
