He was here last week. Doesn't the 7-day rule apply any more?

What's the point of fining Coventry? They won't be in existence beyond this season. Leicester will be running their own NL team next year and no way will Brandon be rebuilt, so the Bees will be hive-less.

What's going to happen in 2019 when Leicester run their own NL team? Word is that this is Leicester's intention and I can't see 3 teams being based on one track.

Wow... that was better than unexpected. -

Remember all those shiny new race suits at the start of the season? Seems that the only one that will be worn tonight will be the one worn by Brummie Bear. -
Is the hot dog van at Eastbourne now going to start selling Bratwurst and Sauerkraut?
-
Herr Ethan von Spiller? The same one that rides in Germany on a German license and has represented Germany on occasions in junior tournaments over on the continent? So much for needing British credentials in the NL.

Stroll in the park for the Real Heathens of Cradley. If Macauley Leek can dismantle the Brummies, then anyone can. -

Shall we wait for a Brummies v Heathens thread to appear before chewing the cud over it? -
Great to see this happening...although having it in Scotland is a little ironic...Almost a neutral venue. The other irony of course will be Craig Cook. Last time there was a test match against Australia, he withdrew from the GB team, citing not being able to afford the fuel for his van to get to Ipswich. He'll be clean out of excuses this time. Just watch him top-score in his own back yard now.

You only need to find riders of the calibre of Macaulay Leek to replace your missing stars and you'll still have the thrashing of us next week. -
The continuing decline of Speedway
uk_martin replied to wealdstone's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Let me guess, you have a black & white television and don't fancy a modern curved screen OLED 4K TV with surround sound, as all you watch is Laruel & Hardy and Charlie Chaplin films? Here's the news...the world has moved on, and belongs to those who move with it. Stand still (as speedway has) and you'll be left behind. Miles behind in speedway's case. -

Macaulay Leek, superstar. Leek on his own outscored the Brummies bottom four. -
He won't be signed now, else Brummie Bear would have to give up his race suit...and you wouldn't want Brummie Bear going around with nothing to wear, would you?

"Is anyone going to this meeting" is the interesting part of this question...

Sheldon Davies won't be able to "win". If he does well, he'll get a CMA that might make him unemployable next season. If he does badly, he'll be accused of "massaging" his average, following that big points haul at Buxton. Still, good luck to the kid as far as I'm concerned.

Too bad that Novichuk United were beaten by Croatia, eh?

Buxton v Brummies NT Sun 8th July
uk_martin replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
Ater Craig Cook's recent performances in Poland, a refersher and confidence building session in the NL may be what he needs. Buxton might possibly have got a heat winner if he'd been riding for them. -

What makes a rider who's been registered and approved by the BSPA suddenly inelligible? Where's the dirty trick in that? I was told by a Cradley fan when the Brummies dropped down to the NL to watch out for Buxton's shenanigans. It seems to be their modus operandi, whoever the opposition is. Anyway, a huge away win, all 15 race winners and all the points in the bag. Karma. -
