  1. Don't bother with facts Gavan is wind up merchant, best just ignore him.
  2. Yawn lol, the question has been answered.
  3. Double 3 times, Treble 3 times.
  4. Wrong unless world war 2 was 1970. 7 titles since 1971 that's 50% of our wins, now that's not most. I'd say plenty remember the trio of Mauger, Collins and Morton.
  5. 14 and counting, number 1 is number 1.
  6. Brady was never riding 3 meetings in a row after his last 2 injuries. He's no different to any rider, they simply have to prioritise Poland, thier careers depend on it. Get over it, stop the broken record nonsense, accept it and move on.
  7. Abysmal performance by the Aces last night, but won't make a difference to getting in the play offs. No issue with Brady missing, 2 big crashes in his last 3 meetings. The SGP is crucial to Bradys whole career, especially this being the season he is trying to establish his self, of course that comes first.
  8. Kings Lynn won't finish above BV, we are 6 points clear having ridden 1 meeting less (which is a home meeting v Birmingham).
  9. I agree i love em, the poles with the flares were stood near me last night and it was great to see, no issues, no safety concerns from me. The Poles really do make a fantastic atmosphere at meetings. Long live the flares
  10. Belle Vue fans had flares at our last two play offs wins, I see flares at Man City games on a regular basis, banned or not people find a way of getting them in, and it's not hiding them in bags 🤣
  11. Because it was new, but it didn't hold them, now considering the off track experience didn't change then it's clearly not the driver for getting the crowd in. Also remember BV wasn't a replacement for Cardiff, the event fell over due to financial issues.
  12. Anyway on to today, the weather warning for the storm has been removed by the Met office, it's bone dry at the moment, some rain due early afternoon but currently non forecast from 4pm.
  13. Cardiff followed that trend but dropped from 50k to 19k so the numbers don't back up the theory. Simply when the racing is poor people stop going. Of course belle vue can learn from this year's event and look to improve off the track and when they do (apart from capacity) it smashes Cardiff to pieces.
  14. He was right, there was extra outlets last night, unfortunately there still wasn't enough.
  15. This I agree with you on Dean, a telling story, time to end this nonsense
  16. Sorry Dean your wrong here, this nonsense having something to enjoy before and after the meeting isn't going to get speedway back to the top, it's simply what you prefer, and it's a poor business plan. Yes I'm certain that the off track experience can be improved at BV over time but why would you want the GP anywhere else after what we saw last night. The experience last night beat every Cardiff by a mile. Room for improvement in the hospitality for sure but that will come. If you want to get pissed go to the pub Manchester as plenty of them.
  17. Oh don't worry Dean i I did get your point, so you thought wrong. As i said the Manchester GP has nothing to do with Cardiff not being here anymore. 20k people stopped going to Cardiff, the bars are all still there so they stopped going due to the racing, the cost or possibly both. You say you expect the racing will probably be great the next 2 days, and your partner and son are going but that wont attract you, well maybe you just simply don't like speedway anymore, which is OK of course. The speedway maybe be secondary for you but it isn't for me, and the 20k who stopped going to Cardiff.
  18. Lots of things wrong with Speedway, a GP at Belle Vue isn't one of them. What's it a backward step from, this is a new GP, this was happening regardless of Cardiff. The fact we were only getting 19k at Cardiff has nothing to do with a GP now happening at the best UK track.
  19. If you come off J36 on M1 use Woodhead A616 it will take through to the M67 which leads onto the M60 then go clockwise around the M60 to Old Trafford, That will be quicker and less fuel than the M62.
  20. If Your coming up from Peterborough, and depending on if your staying over and where, then don't go M62, come off J35A or J36 M1 and follow A616 Woodhead into Manchester, its much quicker and a shorter journey.
  21. Currently no rain forecast for tomorrow on XC weather (reliable app). Saturday looing tricky up to around 7:30pm (but could change yet), but with a dry day Friday that should help the track for Saturday. Dry and warm today, some rain due mid afternoon but dry from 8pm, so we should be OK for both nights as long as Saturday doesn't get worse.
  22. Both didn't just go. One went due to the other moving first, yet the first too move gets away with it. Rule change is needed.
