  1. Nothing to do with track prep. Simply yhe delay in stadium build meant that bends 3 and 4 not had enough time to settle. The track will be fine once bedded in. The error was simply not calling this off yesterday when practice showed it wasnt ready. Nothing to do with track prep. 2. Gutted about tonight, the stadium is awesome and the sound of bikes due to the stadium design was awesome. The onky issue is the lack of time the track has had to settle, it wasnt down to anything but lack of time. So the big error was quite clearly not calling this off yesterday. Its a massive lack of judgement to let this happen, a call of yesterday would not of been the disaster today was. The big question now is how long does the track need, is good Friday still to early, the promotion can come back from this but cant afford Friday to be the same. If friday is in doubt call it off now and get it ready from the sky match on the 30th. Gutted about tonight, the stadium is awesome and the sound of bikes due to the stadium design was awesome. 3. Cook wants to stay at Belle Vue. So be surprised if he wasnt.
  4. Well where to start. Firstly congratulations to Poole on your win it was a great final. As for the Aces I'm so proud of everyone one of them, the fight and passion for our club was immense, I'm absolutely gutted to lose by 2 points, but we can take so much from this season into next year at the new stadium. Depending on rules of course but I'd happily see the same 7 riders back next year. Another winner was Speedway it's self, I went both legs of the final and they were amazing, the racing was great, the meetings were close and the atmosphere at both tracks was electric. I am absolutely shattered today and can hardly speak from all the Cheering and booing of course (which was nothing more than good banter). I thought the Poole riders took the banter well and gave it back in good humore, and a sovienere of some Kyle Newman Googles for a guy stood next to me, again taken as good banter Was also good to meet Lisa-colette. Anyway looking forward to our new beginning next season at our new stadium and hopefully another crack at the play off final.
  5. Well highly unlikely that we will win it now, but I'm proud of the fight back. It's been a great year at Belle Vue and the club is going in the right direction and has a real positive vibe about it. Zagar and Cooke were awesome tonight. Doubt a draw is enough but it's something to cling too on our journey to Poole.
  6. Great away win for the Aces. Delighted to be in the final, it's going to be tough v Poole but we will give it our all. Commiserations to Swindon.
  7. He's not fit to ride. So under current rules the Aces have replaced him.
  8. Both riders are similar ability when fit. Should we have Zagar ride when not fit what a stupid sport that would be. He's not fit so we have replaced within the rules.
  9. You think he would give up on 15k if he was fit lol. This is speedway not premier league football
  10. Lol at everyone slagging Zagar off, do you really think the BV management want him to ride if he's not fully fit when they can get AJ. Zagar riding and being fit to do a job are two different matters altogether. A fully fit Zagar wouldn't have missed any meetings for BV which have cost him 15k to date.
  11. Yep Zagar taking the piss lol, he's given up on 12k and been honest enough to let us get a guest in rather than turn up unfit and get paid for nothing. yes they would at the expense of Swindon. yes they would at the expense of Swindon.
  12. It's definitely not over but it's very very tough to pull 14 points back in a 2 leg tie. The Aces are super motivated and with a great man manager in Lemon behind them, they won't let heads drop if it's a slow start. I think Swindon will win on the night but they would have to inflict belle vues biggest defeat all season to qualify for the final.
  13. He's not better is he, because as you say his average is lower. Also Zagar had a mid season slump which affected his average he's capable of much higher. Doubt that at all. 1 or 2 maybe but you can't keep everyone happy. Zagars commitment is without question.
  14. Not sure that's fortunate as Zagar is a better rider. That's nonsense.
  15. I think moral of the Zagar story is quite simple, opinions don't matter either Zagar rides on Monday or AJ does its that simple. Every other team has or would do the same, and Swindon who have bent the rules to within breaking point this season, have to accept it. The moral is don't throw stones and all that.
  16. Don't need to ask them mate I've seen matejs Commitment to Belle Vue for the last 3 years, but thanks anyway Make that double Whoosh
  17. Zagar rides for Belle Vue not Swindon lol Up to his old tricks. Yes really annoyed that he's testing his fitness out on Sunday I wanted him to wait and ride Monday and pull out after 1 ride, oh no that's what Swindon would prefer. If Zagars fit after Sunday he will ride if he's not fit he won't end of story.
  18. The views will unrestricted from all points in the stadium, this was carefully worked on by the designers and contractors. This is a massive project and no disrespect to liecester but this is a whole different world
  19. What a load of nonsense of course there the same competition, just cause you rename it, it's still the Champions of Britain as it's always been, changing the name means nothing.
