  1. i totally agree with you. Both of my kids were keen speedway fans that have been to loads of tracks. Now they are heavily into football and never mention speedway. Who wants to stand in an empty stadium with poor facilities, watching a poor product that no one has heard of. I bet none of my kids mates know what speedway is.
  2. early days, but Monday don't look too much better. Is there any re staging dates for the play off fixtures.
  3. whatever the weather, it's still gonna be a big task to get the new stadium up and running by April 2016.
  4. looking at the rainfall radar, I don't think you're gonna get it.
  5. he was a bald geezer with a bad attitude, always giving verbals to the punters. He was an easy target really.
  6. extend the date to when, October?. The weather is closing in and the semi finals are due to begin this week. If coventry had started their home league fixtures earlier in the season, they would have qualified.
  7. An excellent well run meeting at west row yesterday, as always the fish and chips were food heaven!
  8. anyone that attended the numerous double headers at white city in the 1970's would know exactly what you mean Eddie!
  9. thanks for that, I'm going to rye house for a double header tonight!
  10. fingers crossed it gets built for all speedway fans, we can't afford to lose a historic club like swindon,
  11. I went to this meeting, but don't remember anything about it!
  12. do you think that Len will be at rye next season shads, surely warren Scott is going to want to run the show himself.
  13. This must be a very worrying time for swindon fans. With only a few meetings left at the abbey and still no sign of a new stadium. Shades of reading, seven years later?
  14. Maybe Len will move the rockets into Central Park next season, if warren Scott decides to go it alone at rye.
  15. If the matches are as good as last nights meeting at Brandon you are in for a treat!
  16. I'm a regular at lakeside, kent, rye house and eastbourne. I don't support any of these teams, but I want all of my local clubs to do well. A little bit of success might help ensure that they all come to the tapes next season!
  17. Kent are only in their third season and have just won the NL pairs, that's hardly being down in the dumps is it!
  18. i gave rye a miss last night shads, and went to watch the raiders at kent instead. What a bunch of triers these boys are, they have been like a breath of fresh air at the launch pad this season.
  19. Is there a cut off date for this competition.
  20. An enjoyable hard fought match at Central Park tonight, with some committed racing from both sides. The raiders deserved their win that keeps them in with a chance of a gold cup place.
