  1. And if they rub shoulders with Ward and Morris they could learn a HELL of a lot MORE. Oops!! Did I write that out loud?
  2. Hope not. Definitely not the answer to Glasgow's problems. Certainly had some memorable performances at Ashfield but very iffy on many other away tracks.
  3. Sean Courtney quoted on BSPA website as saying team changes COULD be on the cards and "there's every chance there will be restructuring of the team". That, to me, doesn't sound too definite. Hmmm.
  4. As could Nieminen, Doolan, Karlsson and Baby Bierre. Lets hope they're not all on their best Ashfield form or we'll be in really serious trouble. Got to say, I have worries about this one.
  5. Has Robert Dickson been shown the door then? I think he was one of the best starting marshals I have ever seen. I hope Heather adopts his method of bringing them in, starting from gate 1 and not giving up until they, each in turn, come forward and are all in line.
  6. Yes, I agree with this. For the initial introductions it was fine but very soon got on one's wick thereafter.
  7. Nothing's been said yet as far as I know about the bike he was riding. Only that it was not insured. Could it have been a speedway bike perchance?
  8. Ward - Disgusting - Grow up son Middleditch - Disgusting - Too late to grow up - Total Arse
  9. Well, they'll have to be good to take MM's place in my opinion. He has a terrific speedway knowledge and a very good mike voice. Ok, latterly he didn't seem to do as much to get the crowd going as he used to but I will certainly miss him.
  10. There's a Neil Street in Greenock............Sorry! just had to.
  11. Thanks Gordon for coming on here and putting the record straight, and not for the first time. Its much appreciated. Can you throw any light on what the ACTUAL criteria are for allowing or denying the entry to Britain for young Aussie riders? This may help us understand the decision of the MC in this particular case.
  12. You have a real cracking team there. Don't know about the cracking racing though. More like walk over heavy wins. Its a team I would like to watch at away fixtures. We at Glasgow, on the other hand might see some cracking racing as we try to keep up with the opposition. (Sorry, can't find smileys on this machine)
  13. There goes Wethers, Dyer and Barrett who were all part of some people's wish lists. Getting a wee bit worried now seeing riders like these disappear. Hope there's a secret master plan.
  14. You're right MD and on thinking about it, the majority of that average would have been attained at the Dale anyway.
  15. Me too. I didn't think we'd be taking that chance again, at least THIS year. Reading some Aussie results, Harley isn't at Michael Penfold's level yet. If Barrett was to be available, how about Screen 9.18 Grieves 7.57 Tully 7.01 Bager 5.72 Horwood 5.00 Wright 4.05 Barrett 3.75 Total 42.28
  16. Aye, that much slicker that you'd be as well with wet concrete. Oh, wait a minute...........problem solved!
  17. Eh? Thought all SQUID were damp. Something to do with them being in the water.
  18. My strength in depth team for next year based on present averages and the 42.5 limit remaining. No out and out No.1 but with four / five riders on the up and three / two stalwarts (depending on choice of No.3), I think it would be a progressive team. James Grieves Henning Bager Theo Pijper / Adam Roynon Anders Mellgren Ricky Wells Mason Campton Mickey Dyer
  19. Jayden O'Malley to Glasgow (on official site)
