  1. You'll be damaged from the chemical smog long before the water gets to ya
  2. Is Mr Dyson a parody account, or is this person really unbelievably thick?
  3. Dunno who you were cheering in 1965, they weren't formed until '68
  4. No, you're the joke pal. Silvers won more trophies than every Berwick promoter put together
  5. Nothing meeting for Rye House. I expect we'll go for the cheapest option. Someone relatively local.
  6. Giving it a miss this year. Not a great fan of individual meetings and certainly not worth the 320 mile round trip on my own. Add to that I'm not prepared to have my bag searched again just in case I want to bring my own food and drink in. I'll be supporting the Rye House Raiders in their match with Stoke instead
  7. Josh Bates looks the favourite out of that lot
  8. I may be wrong, but doesn't Steve usually do the music at Berwick? He was on the centre green that evening, covering for the absent Dick Barrie
  9. In 2007 the Rockets were sitting in 4th place (the final qualifying place) on the cut off date. They went on to win the league, beating Sheffield in the play off final. Ironically Birmingham finished in 4th place after the cut off date. Good omen for Ipswich should Plymouth not complete their fixtures in time
  10. He was pottering about in the pits at stupid o'clock this morning.
  11. Not surprised it's been called off early to save riders and fans travelling
  12. Looks grim. Track won't be fit to race on after all that
  13. I was surprised at how few Cradley fans were there yesterday. Last time there must've been at least 50 and boy were they feisty!! Don't really follow the league table, but know Birmingham & Eastbourne are the standout teams. Mildenhall, who have been up there with Cradley for the last few years, are a shadow of the side they were. Looks like Cradley may be going the same way.
  14. Someone mentioned the land belongs to Thames Water. In that case it's their job to resurface the car park. The Rye pub customers also use it. Should they stump up some cash too?
