Probably the only reason but such an instance is not covered in the SGP statement unless there has been a subsequent amendment. Of the two third-placed semi-final riders, the one who finished highest after the heats will be ranked fifth and receive 12 championship points, while the other will be ranked sixth and earn 11 championship points – with the existing countback system used to resolve any ties if riders finished level. Likewise, the fourth-placed semi-final rider who scores highest in the heats will be ranked seventh, receiving 10 championship points, and the other fourth finisher will finish eighth and earn nine.

This doesn't explain why Madsen finished ahead of Woffinden. Points awarded for 3rd and 4th in the semis are based upon those scored in the qualifying heats. Both finished last in their respective semi but Woffinden scored 13 and so should have been awarded 10 but Madsen, scoring 10 in the qualifiers, 9. https://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/7919/sgp-scoring-and-qualification-changes

Tom is related to the Dugard family so it is quite possible he was being looked after whilst other riders were owed money. -
Leicester vs Plymouth 28 August 2021
tocha replied to PowerfulPierre's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Story so far: Jason Edwards, rising star for Eastbourne is replaced by Nathan Ablitt and signs for Plymouth where he is not a rising star. Alfie Bowtell occupies that position. Jason Crump acquires a new average of 6.98 enabling the signing of Richard Lawson who rides his first meeting for Plymouth at Leicester tomorrow. In the meantime, he rides as a guest for Glasgow this evening. -
Pepe Protasiewicz 46. Former Peterborough rider could make a return.

I'm not saying he wouldn't but he might get an offer closer to home. I expect he is very much in demand.

Now that Jason's average has dropped to 6.98, Plymouth have enough points left to replace Edwards with Lawson if they wanted to. -
Assuming Tom is still based in Swindon it will depend if he wants a 6+hour journey.
-
Glasgow are on the phone to Lawson right now I would imagine. Craig Cook has opted to take time out of the sport due to mental health problems.
-
They are different. Some years ago I read an article, it might have been in SS, stating that Bob had submitted planning permission to develop the site. He went on to say that he had no intention of pulling out but, with no obvious successor, he want to do the best for his family when the time came.

If Jake had stayed in Australia this year , Ipswich would probably have signed Richard Lawson once Klindt had declared himself unavailable.

Kent have booked Broc Nicol as a guest which, probably, makes them stronger. -

Are we sure Klindt is eligible. The latest information I can find, he is riding in the Polish Division One (Ostrow), Sweden (Lejonen) and Denmark (Vojens)

You couldn't make this up. Premier Sports are showing both 3rd/4th legs live but the finals delayed. Worse still, on Sunday there is no other live sport beyond 7.25pm on channel 1 but they are repeating the 1st leg (for the third time!) at 8pm followed by the final leg at 10pm. -

Neither fixtures listed on Premier Sports next Sundays but there is hope as Premier 2 have no live events after 3pm. At the moment, the final 1st leg is delayed until 10pm via Premier 1. -

At the moment it doesn't look as if premier sports are showing any of these fixtures either live or delayed.
