Or maybe no NKI at all??? http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/4578/nki-50/50-on-elite-league
-
Well, its been announced he is attending our end of season do next week so i would say its a possibility??
-
I don't see why clubs can't all get near the limit. There are barely any riders over 8 these days, think only NKI & Doyle last year. That means there is a plethora of 6 & 7 point men around the league. If ya think the combined averages for most rsv duo's will be 8 Points or so, that will leave 32.5 for 5 riders - average of this is 6.5 so bingo!! To me, it just means the days of the old Number 1's is over & 3 quarters of the teams for 2016 will have a team full of 6 & 7 point men, with a number 1 who is a 7 - 7.5 man. Means there will a lot of similar averaged riders in the league which should mean closer racing or am I just being optimistic??!!!??

Garrity??? U know something we don't?!?!?!
-
Very poor for his PL team last year Somerset. He averaged 6.8 in the PL compared to over 8 for our EL rsv Steve. So to give him a spot in the 1-5 would be a big risk IMO. I think he will be in the team however as his average is so low it means we can virtually keep the team from this year & slot him in. Let's hope we see the Richie from 3 yrs ago at Kings Lynn & yeah, maybe him & his bro riding together might spur each other on. Let's hope so
-
God I hope not - that looks very average to me. No number 1 & not sure on Richie Worrall - was v poor last year in PL so he'd have to step his game up big time in the EL. Hope to be stronger than that
-
Watched him a lot at Sheff this year & in 2nd half of season he was absolutely flying round there so he may surprise a few of u Cov fans on a big home track.
-
Yeah, good thinking by them but how can a guy averaging 5.53 as a 2nd string possibly be classed as a rsv?? Hope it's on that average or it's very wrong if he goes at 60% of his PL one
-
WTF?? How in gods name can Howarth be a rsv when he got an EL average last year??? He averaged 5.53 as a 2nd string for gods sake?? Great signing for Wolves tho, has to be said

Yeah, at least we will get to know who's on the FTR lists & who will be on the heat leader list as well Apart from that i dont think there's much else to tell us?? -
2016 Sgp Swc Calendar & Info's
Bradford Ace replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Soon hopefully We provisionally booked a load of rooms at the same hotel we stayed at this year in Torun & they're getting a bit impatient with us!!! -
Not sure why people r mentioning Lindback here?? Pretty sure he will get a GP wildcard & if so there is no chance of him taking in England as well as 11/12 GP's. KK is about the only one who may consider a UK return given he's now out of the GP's. Trouble is that he's exactly the same as Zagar - an enigma!!! If he has his head on then he's great, as he showed in the 2014 GP series. If he's in can't be bothered mode then he will be like he's been this season - embarrassing himself by poodling round at the back every week. Is he worth the risk?? Not sure of his average but for me, if we can squeeze him in & keep Nicholls, Max & Cooky then I would take a chance on him as the options appear very very limited.
-
Yep, completely screws us up does this. I just hope he informed the management of this a few weeks ago to give them plenty of notice re team building as with him in the side on that average we would only have had to change 1 rider if we wanted to go with the majority of the riders from this season. Now if we dont get a like for like average wise it may mean we have to drop one of Nicholls, Cook or Fricke. Shame AJ has gone to Lakeside as he would have been ideal. Cant see many No 1's out there that would be available on an 8 point average so may well be Cook at No1 & pack the middle order with 6 point men?? Unless we can pull a rabbit out of a hat from somewhere??
-
Doyley would be great but his average is over 1.5 higher than Zagar's meaning in reality we would have to lose at least 1 of Cook, Nicholls or Fricke?? Hoping he hasn't just dropped this on the Management as if so it completely screws our team building. Can't see many options out there at all to be honest so maybe they'll go strength in depth & pack the middle order with 6 point guys??

How come the track has dirt on it, has some racing lines & is actually a proper colour?? Take note Cardiff - we don't want that slick horrible crappy sandy coloured rubbish in 2016!! -
Interesting that & would welcome it but can't see it being Friday's as that would mean no GP boys riding in the EL?? Would have thought weds or thurs would be better personally??
-
I meant more that he had 3 sources of income & has chosen to lose one of those 3 so he obviously doesn't need England for the money!! Pointless discussing his name on this thread - it's about Belle Vue 2016 & he will not be a part of it!!!! Well, he will be at the PC Memorial meeting so that's as close as we're ever gonna get!!!
-
Forget Tai - no way on earth will he come back to the Elite League in the next few years unless something drastic happens. Why would he?? He's basically reduced his earnings by a third so he obviously doesn't need England for the money & he's made it clear numerous times that he loves the reduced work load. Obviously working for him given he's just won the World Title again!!! Only way he'd even think about coming back here in the next 5 years would be if we went to 1 night a week in England but that will never happen. And if he came back it would be at Wolves given his close relationship with Adams. For the Aces, we need to shed points if as expected we keep our top 4 from this season so would be very surprised if it isn't Richie Worrall given he's an asset & that his average will fit given his poor season in 2015.
-
Think that's his plan. Came 2nd to Dudek in a recent open event in Poland so hopefully he will have done his chances no harm there. Now he's involved with Ash Holloway his bikes seem very quick & he's a good starter so hopefully a Polish team will snap him up - probably Division 1 to start with.

Why do these imbeciles insist on releasing only part of the info now which just confuses matters even more?? Just release it all when its all ready to come out as now we have a load of unanswered questions!!!!!!!! Without even thinking about it too much:- How is the PL average converted to the EL one?? Presume 60%?? How do they calculate the tier 2 FTR averages as they say 40.5 points is for 7 riders?? What is the heat leader standard official average they talk of re grading list?? is it 6.50 or is that just for Foreign assessed riders? So now nobody will know all this til 3rd November!!!!!!!! Ridiculous -
How Many El Teams In 2016?
Bradford Ace replied to Bradford Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Personally i'd now like to see 2 leagues of 10 based on being in the North & South - there are currently 21 teams in the 2 leagues & thinking 1 of Lakeside or Swindon probably wont run in 2016 leaving 20 teams to be split into 2 as follows: North - Belle Vue, Leicester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Berwick, Workington, Newcastle, Redcar, Sheffield, Scunthorpe South - Coventry, Wolverhampton, Kings Lynn, Swindon/Lakeside, Poole, Ipswich, Peterborough, Somerset, Rye House, Plymouth Will use my club Belle Vue as an example. We meet everyone in our Northern division home & away so therefore 18 meetings. We then meet everyone in the South Division just once - 5 at home & 5 away. Could be worked out randomly or on league postions the year before. That would be 28 meetings to produce 2 league tables. I would then run an extended play off formula - proven over the years that the play offs work & bring in the crowds. Top 4 from each Division play off against each other to then produce a winner of each Division who then race off over 2 legs in the Grand FInal - a big North v South showdown!!!! The main thing to work out for me is the points limit as that could be tricky but surely thats what the muppets at the BSPA get paid for!!!!!! -
How Many El Teams In 2016?
Bradford Ace replied to Bradford Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How do u make that out?? We don't even know who is in the EL next year?? So my point is, how can they charge up front for 20 meetings if there might only be 14 league meetings unless quite a few PL teams move up?!?!?!
