Not sure of the names but aren't some of the roads built on the old Blackbird Road stadium in Leicester named after speedway riders? -

I also would have thought more people would have turned up on a Wednesday evening now that the Elite League is over for The Stars. It seems many people only want to watch the top riders (If you can call the Elite League this!) and have no interest in the youngsters. I know of people who will not come to watch racing at this level because "they are always falling off". This is a sad state of affairs and if this level is not supported where will the future British riders come from? Admittedly there are riders in this league who are not likely to progress further and may be taking places younger riders could occupy. It remains to be seen what form this league takes in 2013.We have been supporting third tier speedway since 2000 and, hopefully, will continue to do so.

The problem that I would have with the admission prices is the price for Seniors. I notice that this is same as for adults but with a free programme!.As a couple we do not require 2 programmes! There are very few tracks that now include free programe with admission. A token reduction in the price would be appreciated.

Belle Vue Colts Apply For National League
STARRGAZER1 replied to Rob B's topic in National League Speedway
This is great news but the fans must support it. We have seen before where a club runs 2 teams that the junior team does not get the support. National league speedway is great to watch. -
10th Year Pre Cardiff Entertainment

Is it worthwhile having vocal entertainment as it cannot be heard above the airhorns etc. yes the accoustics are bad as very difficult to hear eny announcements all night. -
Slovenian Gp, Krsko 12.9.
STARRGAZER1 replied to tomazpozrl's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
All these comments about the GP but how many of you were actually there watching it live & soaking up the atmosphere? Those of us who were there think it was better than you are saying on this forum.Agreed that gate 1 was distinctly favoured for 1st 12 heats but there were close races despite little overtaking, there were certain riders who were not pushing themselves but others who were racers.Krsko is a nice stadium, easy to find & where can you watch the top riders in the world for less than you would pay to go into an Elite League fixture in UK -

We shall be in Slovenia at the time of the G.P. and intend making our own way there.Am trying to find ticket details and G.P. Web site quotes prices & re-directs to eventim.si to purchase. The event is not listed on their web site and having EMailed them they advise they do not know.Does anyone know,or have previous experience, about tickets for this event? The enquiry form on GP Web site does not appear to be working!
