Any news on if Adam Shields can be fitted into any team now, after he was released by Vargarna so they could squeeze in Pedersen?

Can't be bothered?! Richardson qualified through to the Croatian round this season and ended up in hospital out there with a kidney infection! Thus missing the actual meeting and the Hammers match at Belle Vue the following Monday. That's a long way to go, to 'not bother'! -
Great to see Adam Shields back in action and scoring well!

No Pearson Or Millard!
Cliv Clav replied to Tony The Tiger's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Kelvin and Louis did very well indeed! For two former speedway riders to be able to take over like that was superb. Not the easiest of matches either, with the huge delay, the enormity of the occassion and the very close score. Well done boys! -
Swc Race-off
Cliv Clav replied to Danish Webmaster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Charlie Webster says Rico is in for Kennett and Batchelor for Sullivan. Why are we getting our news from a TV presenter's mobile phone, rather than official websites? Nothing on the BSPA site. On the Speedway GP website, it says Lyon is unsure whether he will bring Richardson in! How much top flight speedway does this guy actually see?! Our top rider in UK, Sweden and Poland may not be used when trying to qualify for a World Cup Final! What a joke. -
From http://speedwaygp.com/ WATT CALL-UP Davey Watt has been called up into the Australian side for Event Two of the FIM Tobet Speedway World Cup at Peterborough tonight. The Eastbourne rider replaces Rory Schlein, who broke a collarbone riding for Coventry against Ipswich on Friday night. Schlein was sent flying from his bike after hitting the back-straight fence in Heat 4 and also suffered a fractured wrist, a knee problem and possible nerve loss in a finger. Australia tackle Great Britain, Poland and Slovenia in tonight's meeting, with the winners qualifying for Saturday's Final at Leszno, and the second and third placed teams going into Thursday's Race-Off in Poland.

Gb World Cup Team
Cliv Clav replied to DarrenCook's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Richardson is GB's top rider, former Peterborough rider and was 0.1 outside the track record on his last visit a few weeks back. Rico also to his credit has done more racing this year than I have ever seen him do. He used to throttle off quite often, when in close proximity to others, but he has rarely done that this year. Surely,we could have done with his gating skills against the World's best too? Guess Lyon thinks the first round is a lost cause, so give the youngsters some experience, and bring in Rico for the Polish round. No surprise about Nicholls being left out though really. -
In defence of the track, it was boiling hot out there, so it was incredibly difficult to keep any moisture in the track. They did water it a lot, but it was drying almost instantly. Would have been nice to have had more shale down, but as I say, you couldn't keep the moisture in it.

Can anyone please confirm the time of the practice in Prague tomorrow? Thanks
-
Yeah, be good to share a beer over there. Are you on Facebook? My mate & I will be sitting by the exit of the second bend. We will also be there for practice, all being well. Will definitely get the 3/4 day ticket, as I will be there for 4 days. Can you buy it at the airport?
-
Thanks for all your help everyone! I have a lot to read and look into now and will book it up accordingly. Cheers

I am considering going to the Bydgoszcz GP for the first time this seaason. I was wondering if people could help with a few questions: Recommended and fairly cheap hotels close to the centre of Bydgoszcz? What area is best to stay in? Would be nice to do a few bars and nightclubs whilst out there. How do you travel from the airport to the City centre? Is the track within walking distance from the City centre? Is the practice on Friday open to the general public? If so, what time does it take place? Where is best place to buy tickets from? Where would you recommend to watch from in the Stadium? Thanks everyone!

AJ pulled out of the meeting a few heats before the referee agreed the track was unraceable and abandoned it! Seems silly to fine him for this! -
Hard Racing Or Dirty Riding?
Cliv Clav replied to Stephen JIM Owens's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Clear as you like Gollob looks left then turns left across Jonsson's line! Much too early to be turning into the bend! Never seen Gollob do something as dirty as that, on purpose, for ages! Really disappointed in him. Tatum, Ermolenko and Richardson all said the same instantly! You don't turn left going over the start line on a track that size! -
Cool, I like Belinda Carlisle! Used to fancy her when I younger, circa Heaven Is A Place On Earth and Leave A Light On For Me time.
