In Speedway audience terms... you're just a young babby!

11% up

Think I preferred the old one, new one looks a bit 1990's, similar to Glasgow's but crapper... but they've got merch to sell I suppose. Tbh I thought the old logo of the Lion was very good indeed, wasn't so keen on the ye olde style font though from a few seasons back
-
I get what you're saying and price per match I still think it's pretty good value but the packages I've compared are equivalent, CL pass and PL pass year on year.
-
I still believe it's pretty good value, but the prices have gone up alarmingly: 2022: £152 2023: £209 +37.5% 2024: £250 +19.6%

Because there's a high liklihood that he'd score a hell of a lot more around the PMA than he would at foxhole. A few duck eggs at foxhole and confidence could easily be lost and a downward spiral be gotten into. Doesn't a riders contact generally last for 1 year and then they revert to their parent club. Of course a contact will probably have get out clauses if a rider is not performing up to muster.

Premiership 2025 Confirmed Signings
IainB replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Best interests of the sport? -
I assume loan fees still get paid
-
If i understood correctly, going by what @W9 Lion said, Ippo had first refusal on Dan, despite him being a Leicester asset, which sounds crazy!
-
And I thought as Zmarzlik and Cierniak were in the country they may have been unveiled at the open day Oh well... guess they'll be off to Brum
-
From listening to comments he made about Ippo last year it seems that absolutely no pressure was put on him at all, so you can't blame him for wanting to return... or was that Joe? either way no pressure
-
Yes I do... well spotted!
-
Listening to Danny Ford on the speedway podcast you get the feeling that in his ideal world he'd be running a PL team in the CL!

Premiership 2025 Confirmed Signings

That's what I was wondering, according to page 1 they are, something's not right somewhere -
Fair enough, I stand corrected... i must have fallen asleep during that bit I didn't realise the evidence documents were available online... very interesting, thanks
-
It was all he said, she said though. You can't offer opinion as evidence, there were many documents submitted as evidence, I think one of them was from Mick Horton of all people... but as far as I am aware nothing from Osbourne, he just appeared and gave his opinion and I think we all know why
-
Would have gone for Dan myself... especially in the aggregate bonus point era we're now in, he could rack up some decent scores at home, assuming he can also get a PL spot, as his lack of track time last season seemed to effect him quite badly
-
Seriously? Even though he's a Lions asset? The world's gone crazy!
-
Dan's gone to Ippo
-
There's a lot of talk about Masters average in the press release, surely his drop in average is (in part) due to the strengthening of the league and with it looking to being even stronger this year I hope he can at least maintain his average. The PL is a lot different now compare to the season when he topped the averages
-
I'm not sure that's entirely true though is it? I don't think he submitted any certified accounts as evidence of his figures, he just expressed his opinions
-
Didn't somebody say today that they were waiting for some more info which would be provided on the 19th of December?
-
He did... bit of an insult to the paying punters really
-
I bet this girl wishes she'd never approved the planning application now!

Listening to Danny Ford on the British Speedway podcast and fair play for the guy presenting it for asking the question about the Jubilee Trophy but I'm glad Danny Ford found it all very funny! I get it, it has become a joke but for the fans that have followed their club through all the qualifying rounds they deserve for it to at least be taken seriously by the powers that be. And until these competitions are taken seriously (whatever they are)... Speedway will always be seen as a Micky Mouse "sport"
