  1. I've just been back and read through the early posts due to the hysteria in the later posts calling for people to be banned from the forum because they thought the racing was no good. I can only find 1 post saying it's boring and another saying not as good as Monday. I think the main gripe was that practice was held so late that it didn't allow for time for the track to be prepped properly like it should have been for a World Championship event. Consequently the track had one line about an inch from the fence. So instead of riders passing inside and out with ease like we saw was doable on Monday evening we saw Desperate Dan kamikaze moves. If the dirt line hadn't been so wide Tai would not have been making that move, we all know he likes a cut back. PHB riding too wide, because it was the only line. Can't remember the Swedes crash but they were also pretty wide. I've seen quite a few meetings at BV over the years and you just don't see crashes, thankfully as it's a blummin fast track. To see 2 big ones in the same meeting and PHB's could easily have ended differently says a lot about the track. The racing was pretty good, better than you'd see at most places, the track perp on the other hand was a disgrace for a World Championship event.
  2. You can either read through about a million pages... or you could just make your own story up and you probably wouldn't be that far away from the truth of what has happened.
  3. Please can you take your celebrations back to your own thread... us Lions fans want to be alone right now
  4. This is embarrassing from Leicester, going out with a whimper
  5. I thought the racing was pretty good too... it's just that the track was a bit 1 liney after around 10 races. There's no practice tomorrow it's there?
  6. Just made it to Leicester for heat 2... probably got banned from driving in the process when the postman delivers on Monday!
  7. Well done Morris you've managed to make the best race track in the world into a 1 line track... unbelievable!
  8. It was just too slick after practice with not enough time left to prep it again. Did you see Zmarzlik just slide straight across turn 1!
  9. Fireman Phil has ordered the track to be flooded... But Meredith has refused by the looks of it, only a single lap on the inside and a tiny bit on the outside
  10. Gotta say... there ain't many here for a sell out. Everybody must be heading for Leicester!
  11. I don't know but I think maybe the fairness of your home track may carry over with some of your riders to away tracks... the track at the NSS is so fair their seems to be very little a rider can do about being passed, maybe that mentality has transferred into their away form as they seemed to be passed far too easily on Thursday night. Don't forget Redcar, Leicester, Kent, Birmingham, Plymouth & Scunthorpe! Just like every league winning fan has for the last I don't know how long When Kelvin Tatum has the caption "Pundit" at the start of the show, don't hold your breath about the rest of the presentation The most successful speedway league in the world runs it's operation in the same way that the most successful football league in the world does... coincidence? I was going to post exactly the same thing about harnessing what was on show over the 2 legs of the final... Is Rob Godfrey really the man for the job? I'm not so sure there was any contact there it looked to me as though Wrighty just picked up some grip and lost control
  12. Yes I did hear that... a very ambiguous statement that could be taken in any number of different ways
