  1. Queue people coming on here telling you the promotion made exactly the right decision to cancel
  2. Of course we don't know for sure what actually was on his laptop screen
  3. Sam Ermolenko always used to plug Kandysoft when he was on Sky with Keith Heuwen with his laptop open... So that blows part of that theory out of the water
  4. God forbid, if anybody was killed in the fire, firefighters, emergency services, I wonder who would be liable? Brandon Estates or Rugby Council?
  5. Sport is passion though (or should be) and that's what some so called promoters should realise!
  6. That's why the Leicester track was such a good education for him... put some fear into him... and now he's in the GP's lol FWIW, I think you were right in your initial posts about Ellisgate 2, the promotion were dishonest with the fans, they may want to be dishonest in dealings between themselves and riders but when you start being dishonest with the fans you're on a slippery slope to ruin
  7. Przedpelski dipped his toe in the Leicester track and broke his ankle on debut... was never seen again, now he's in the GP's showing just what an education the Leicester track is
  8. I think it might be short for erection
  9. I think you'll find that in half of Bomber's guest bookings he's actually guesting for Rory Schlein
  10. We've had a remarkably dry spring though, was bound to break sooner or later
  11. This is more exciting than any Speedway meeting Will it, won't it? Did it, didn't it? Should it, shouldn't it?
  12. November at Poole! You could also go on what it's actually doing It MIGHT do lots of things...
  13. That's OK though, not everybody can be world beaters... those "failures" are the lifeblood of the leagues
  14. That has been the attraction to riders in the past in getting them to the UK, the sheer number of pay days, it seems that the younger riders with ambition are taking their chances in the PU24 league at the moment and who can blame them as they may well hit the jackpot, a la Jaimon Lidesy. Of course the majority of them won't make it, so hopefully once they've realised that they'll adjust their goals and start coming back over here.
  15. They come from abroad, like they used to before Covid. I don't know why they've not come back Brexit? or maybe the Polish U24 league, maybe a bit of both. Looking at some of the riders riding in the PU24 they were exactly the type of riders that would have plied their trade over here, there's a number of stand out young Aussies that are riding in that league but not over here. They need tempting back some how.
  16. Nothing fickle about it Mike, this latest episode has been all about honesty and transparency. Well done to all of the riders.
  17. Only humble pie if the management made the change to strengthen the team... which they may well be claiming tomorrow morning
  18. 6 week contract? Truth is we'll never know... anyway the King is dead, long live the King! Promotion will be patting themselves on the back tomorrow, fair play though, great result for the Brummies tonight, let's hope they can put this latest sorry saga behind them and move on to better times.
  19. To beat Jack Thomas and Cam Heeps... most people i would have thought
  20. If I wanted to watch future Lions... I'd go to Sheffield every Thursday
  21. I don't think Ellis is completely blameless, he must take his share of the blame, pleading ignorance every time something like this happens or going silent is no defence. He must have known he was being "sold" to the fans as a season long signing. Quotes were being attributed to him in the media urging fans to get along and back the promotion earlier in the season... but as usual silence from Ellis... just his dad coming on here again with nothing meaningful to contribute. To Ellis and the promotion it's a business... to the fans it's a passion and they deserve an explanation, it turns out that this rumour was true.
  22. 23/03/22 : BIRMINGHAM have pulled off the signing of reigning British Champion Adam Ellis... and completes their side for the coming season... we had to wait for a few things to fall into place. We hit a few pitfalls along the way and we’ve had to be patient with one or two things. 30/03/22 Ellis: It’s been a bit frantic getting everything ready because of the way things developed over the last few days but I’m looking forward to getting started. I travelled to press day not sure if I would be allowed to have my picture taken or give any interviews because there was a stumbling block over the move, something I didn’t quite understand but it got sorted thankfully! 16/05/22: The consortium were always aware that this situation was a possibility... It was always understood that, should the situation arise... Adam has always been upfront with the club regarding his commitments moving forward into the summer... Pick the bones out of that! Whatever happened to Josh Grajczonek?
