Imo, KL is a shadow of the "race" track it used to be, that's the reason I have absolutely no interest in attending as a neutral anymore, I used to get along to Lynn about 5 or 6 times a season... I've been 5 or 6 times in the last 10 years

Agree with you... well at least 66.6% Killer falls off if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction and he seemed alright with it after the incident With Lahti, Nicki didn't move off his line, was marginally in front when Lahti came off, there was still a lot of track left to ride and the throttle goes both ways Birkemose would do well to wind his neck in and show a bit more respect to the 3 x World Champ, all his histrionics after the incident was embarrassing To be involved in 3 incidents in one night is unusual and the law of averages says there's going to be one wrong decision, no excuse for any alleged violent behaviour but nothing wrong with a frank exchange of opinions

British Speedway "Promoters" Limited... I agree, they are franchise holders, but really some promotion really does cost little to nothing and some clubs just aren't doing this, they're doing the "if you build it, they will come" style of "promotion". It's not difficult and there are some easy wins to be had, if I can think of them as a humble fan then others should also be able to.

As a Leicester fan this is a great signing, I've always liked Hans and the way he goes about his Speedway. He may well help us defend our league and cup titles but really outside of anybody already in the know... who cares? Will he put bums on seats? I can't imagine he's cheap. Still a great signing, can't wait to see him in action!

Don't even suggest that in jest, because if the powers that be see it... I suggested that last year for running the British Championship, it's certainly something I'd go to watch. Every British track to stage a round with a final to be held at the end of the season at the NSS

Leicester have done little to nothing to promote the fact that they are current league and cup winners, you really have to dig down on the website to find that out, there was not even a preview of the opening match in the defence of the cup for the home match... yet they'll put a press release out about being concerned about the lack of ticket sales. Yes promotion can cost money but there's lots of things you can do that cost little to nothing and at Leicester this is just not being done. Many potential supporters are attracted by success but the fact we're reigning league and cup champs seems to be dirty words at Leicester. There's nothing around the stadium or in the presentation to signify that you're watching something special (even if you're not, new people aren't going to know this). There are adverts on some busses in the city, they've not had league and cup champs added to them

I've been thinking again, oh dear, and some of you ain't gonna like it because it involves trying to publicise the club and our triumphs Has anybody at the club been in touch with Leicester City Football club to try and capitalise on our sporting successes? I've been banging on about us not showing the trophy to our fans, how about trying to arrange a visit of the FA Cup to BP for a photo op with our Cup & League Trophy and their Cup? It may even drag some LCFC fans in as I doubt they'd get the same opportunity down at the King Power and also involve local radio and television. May not be able to get Wes Morgan or Kasper Schmeicel along but I bet club ambassador "Birch" would love a night out at the Speedway! Also, there's a bus going around happily on its route with a big Leicester Speedway banner along the side, it's been out and about since at least 2017, has anybody thought about getting it into the depot to stamp League and Cup winners over it?

I suppose the only thing that has changed is that the "big" transfer seems to be a thing of the past with the Lee Richardson one being the last one I can find. I wonder if there is anything to stop a promoter going on a road trip of Europe and mopping up any unsigned rider on the off chance they may ride in Britain and can then charge loan fees... I presume Birmingham have the World Champion on their "retained list"

If you thought the gaps were long in the Polish match... try a Swedish one lol. On Premier Sports they even put other programmes on within the match to fill the gaps! Watching a Polish match, now that the crowds are back, is a but like watching a GP with the quality of rider, crowd size and atmosphere, although for me personally I have no vested interest in which team wins and watch very much as a neutral, where I tune into a GP wanting a British rider to win. In this country, under normal circumstances, the GP is the flagship event and then going to a league match is very much an after the lord mayor's show affair. It's a bit like cricket in that respect comparing a test match to country cricket.

Was Roynon a free agent then? He's been around for years? Or was he "owned" by the BSPL? If so, talk about hitting a club when they're down, offloading a rider to a financially struggling club.
