  1. I know, I know you're right... the trouble is he gets away with it then doesn't he. I'd hate for someone to be found hanged with their computer screen showing a final post from him. It's a shame that this forum doesn't seem to be moderated these days The way he was hounding chris4gillian yesterday was despicable
  2. I don't think I've demanded answers of anyone... I merely asked a question, that he chose to ignore as he has every right to I'm not assuming, I'm asking, so I can adjust my communication with them Why would you not adjust the way you speak to somebody because of a condition they have, would you whisper to a deaf person, maybe cover your lips with your hand? Correct me if I'm wrong but the thread is under the "Speedway News and Discussions" thread not "General Discussions" I'll ignore your 12 year old schoolgirl question, you've quite clearly suspended your sense of humour at the moment Not interested in the constant number swapping as I've said before, my issue is with BWitcher and his treatment of me and others I've not attacked and never would someone for being Autistic, at the risk of repeating myself I merely asked so I could adjust the way I communicate
  3. Please educate me... I have looked for it in the past but not found it
  4. This is not what he said at all, what he said was: "I must have missed you banging on about it in previous years. Got any quotes to share?" as a direct reply to my post of: "I take anybody dying from a lung disease seriously. I watched my dad die from IPF 2 years ago and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy". It's there for all of us to read, take a look. What he at no point has said is "prior to your father's situation, you never gave a second thought to lung disease", so I'm not sure where you got that from? And how you'd know what he thought I was thinking prior to my Father's death is also a mystery. I'll agree with the rest of your thoughts though I'm going to break off from my standard reply to you to try and re-engage with you: At no point did I mock the flu, just because I used the word blummin as a pre-fix was to try and keep it light as I could see you were getting out of control. Thanks for acknowledging the death of my Father as a sad event, I almost said the same thing to my mum as we were both holding his hand as he was gasping for his last breath. It's the first hint of empathy you've shown. I decided you were referring to my Fathers death for this reason: Your direct reply to my post of "I take anybody dying from a lung disease seriously. I watched my dad die from IPF 2 years ago and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy" was ""I must have missed you banging on about it in previous years. Got any quotes to share?""
  5. No, no, no. What he said in a direct reply to me saying i take people dying of lung disease very seriously as I watched my dad die from one was: "I must have missed you banging on about it in previous years.Got any quotes to share?" That, as he has a habit of pointing out, is a fact and is evidence. Banging on about my dad dying... Let's just let that hang there for a bit... Banging on about my dad dying. A direct reply...
  6. Total lack of empathy... another symptom
  7. And I think he should lay off the Covid stuff and stop being an obsessive bully. Saying "having an interest in numbers and figures doesn't automatically make someone Rain Man" could be interpreted as being pretty offensive in itself and shows a complete lack of understanding of Autism. You've watched Rain Man that's your benchmark? I only ask if he is Autistic as then I could possibly understand his behaviour and adapt my interaction with him. If he isn't then he's just a rude, obsessive, cantankerous man who just won't accept anybody else's opinion or point of view.
  8. You could almost predict who was going to "Like" this post... disagree away, keep it polite, civil and don't be obsessive and bait people I'd say we're a long long way from being "normal"... I don't know if you've noticed but we can't even go to the Speedway! I totally agree with your point about attacking people by calling them mentally ill, I'm not quite sure who has done this though? I have said I suspect he is and I've suggested he see a doctor as I'm concerned for him if he has. I have asked him if he has Autism, which he displays all the signs of, he's not answered that question, which of course he is quite within his rights to do. If you think his behaviour is "normal" and his baiting of forum posters is acceptable that's a sad reflection on you.
  9. The forum has just told me I'm out of reactions for today... This can only mean I've become a bit obsessive
  10. The worrying thing is though that there are vulnerable people around, no doubt some on here and when a character like him latches on to them things could take a turn for the worse, especially as a lot of people are currently mentally fragile during the current pandemic... See what I've done there? I've managed to bring it back on topic ... But of course, we all know... There is no pandemic
  11. I suggest you check out some of his posts on other threads about Speedway, when he used to post on them. His behaviour was the same as it has been on this one, obsessive to the point of bullying. He may not have set out to be a bully but he singles people out, like he seems to have done with you and baits them. Now you and I may be big and ugly enough to handle this, water off a ducks back... but not everybody is. Bully: "a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable"
  12. The son of a friend of mine is Autistic and he's a great lad, bloke actually as he's in his early 20's now. I am aware of how I communicate with him though, thankfully he's just a nice bloke and not obsessive (well he is a bit) and rude, he's such a polite bloke
  13. If you had said you were Autistic I would cut you some slack, nice to see you've picked up on the bullying accusations and turned it around on me, must feel pleased with yourself about that. Nothing offensive about Autism, you obviously don't realise you probably are and I suggest you get tested. My attitude towards Autism is to accept those with it and make adjustments on how I communicate with them. Like I said I have no interest in "debating" Covid19 other than it's impact on Speedway as this topic I remind you is in the "Speedway News and Discussions" thread, perhaps this topic should be moved out of the way into "General Discussions". So, as you've neglected to answer a direct question all I can say is... See you next Tuesday
  14. When it was done in the early 00's I think, of those still left, the SWC was held at the likes of Peterborough, Poole, KL, Eastbourne, Sheffield
  15. Some already think that because the name "Speedway of Nations" doesn't include the words world and cup that it lacks gravitas and I can see that point of view for somebody outside of Speedway. Whatever it's called I think it'll need to be sanctioned by the FIM for riders to be required to ride and not forced to stay in Poland and concentrate on their league... I think we're allowed small digressions now and again aren't we
  16. I'm going to break with my usual "See you next Tuesday " response to you and ask you a simple question... I'm not interested in Covid19 on these forums anymore other than its impact on Speedway... here is my question: BWitcher are you Autistic?
  17. "Autism spectrum disorder is a condition related to brain development that impacts how a person perceives and socializes with others, causing problems in social interaction and communication. The disorder also includes limited and repetitive patterns of behavior. The term "spectrum" in autism spectrum disorder refers to the wide range of symptoms and severity."
  18. BSPL seem pretty confident that it'll be the same 1-7's next year though... I can see this one turning sour, we know there's no loyalty in the game
  19. I'm not even sure he's a Speedway fan. I can't recall seeing him post anywhere about speedway other than bullying somebody about Tai Woffinden once. I soon became uncomfortable about contributing on that topic as he was acting like he thought he was some kind of Perry Mason lawyer character constantly posting "facts" and "evidence" etc. against somebody's "opinion" With his socially retarded obsessive posts I suspect he's somewhere on the Autism spectrum, so I should probably cut him some slack. With his obsession it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't have another account in a different name so he can agree with himself. It truly is bizarre and a little bit sad
  20. We'll see... if they don't there goes the same 1-7's as this year. If they have been given a signing on fee for the 2020 season, they may not want to pay this back and that maybe a reasonfor them to stay
  21. Yes all makes perfect sense, somebody should show Emil this as he's spelling his own name incorrectly on his own website and socials and Antonio, surely if that's how they spell their name that's how they spell their name... it's like my name is actually Raymond Luxury-Yacht but pronounced Throatwobbler Mangrove Only 2 of the 8 rounds are at Gorzow though... he's not shown much elsewhere Hmm... remains to be seen if this will actually happen, can see a few teams who may think the likes of Holder, Lidsey & Lambert will be riding on false averages after having particularly good years while some other riders haven't even turned a wheel. I know this sounds crazy now but this is Speedway we're talking about but I can imagine a time in the future where riders riding on dual passports will be doubling up for multiple countries SSmarzlik hasn't shown much away from Gorzow this year for me, he's up there in the stats, but only because he's unbeatable around his home track
  22. Personally I'd like to see a World Cup run every year but maybe mix the format up a bit, 1 year WTC (4 riders 1 reserve), 1 year SoN (2 riders 1 reserve) and 1 year Full 18 heat 8 man test matches. I think they had the SWC about right in the early days when it was all held in 1 country, giving the media a chance to get behind it. Obviously the Poles don't need the media attention. I think mixing the formats up may also mix the winners up.
