  1. God help us if Eurosport get hold of the rights, they are and always have been a joke. I missed the WU21 earlier in the year as I didn't realise it was on Eurosport, they showed a 1 hour "highlights" show of that event prior to the live event last weekend, I thought I'd watch that as I'd missed it first time around... all they did was show it as live from 1 hour before it finished, consequently they joined it for heat 19, 20, the 2 semi's and final, zero effort went into producing a proper highlights show. I know beggars can't be choosers but sometimes going with the highest bidder isn't always the best option.
  2. Ooh you little tinker! That must be where he picked his "knock" up from... aggravated his back opening a bottle of beer There's 2 great gaping holes on the first turn where it's been worn down to the base, it's been like that for at least half the season. How often does Scott Nicholls come off on his own?
  3. good, I'm glad to hear it... I was making a joke though
  4. To be fair the BSPA do need the money
  5. Yeah, I meant riding for Arena, you obviously meant as a manager. I didn't know that Vatcher spannered for Boycey though... I wondered where he'd come from
  6. I think the word you need there is dangerous, not uncool Probably because the stock cars would turn a profit and it's their last chance to cash in, Speedway on the other hand would just be adding to their losses
  7. I think there's life in the old dog yet, he's been a joy to watch around Leicester this year and is one of only a handful of riders who seem to have mastered the track. I agree though his best days in the top flight are long behind him. Didn't he have a spell at Arena?
  8. Trouble is, who's going to take up and compete in a dying sport?
  9. Isn't there a dog track in Peterborough? Has the sport ever run there? If not, why not?
  10. It would also be interesting to know how many of these were called off on the basis of a forecast and how many times the forecast was right
  11. Maybe instead of helmet covers they could "Tron" the bikes up with the use of LED's, red, blue, white, yellow/green That could look quite spectacular for little cost
  12. One can only hope BWitcher is having the same debate on the British Cricket Forum
  13. You really are quite tedious, you post something that clearly says 5 points to each team for a draw and then argue against it... You should be on the Labour Party front bench
  14. And how was that score made up? ... And it was 9pts to 6pts
  15. This always used to be a bit of a bug bear of mine as a lot off tracks never really mentioned it over the PA unless a race off was required
  16. I do have trouble, especially when the lighting isn't quite up to scratch at some tracks. And when a rider has washed all his helmet covers in the same load and the white and yellows have faded
  17. It quite clearly states: "five points apiece if a match is drawn" case closed
  18. Looks like you've had your team of lawyers forensically going through the evidence... Book him Danno Just answer me this one question though... How many points are awarded for a draw in county cricket for the home team and for the away team?
