I'd like to see Zagar and Hampel in the GPs - too good to leave out. Can't wait for Chris Holder and Tai Woffenden to qualify.

Shouldn't that be "What's 'is 'e-mail?' Just to finish off this thread I'm home in the warm with enough memories to last me a lifetime - or until next time anyhow. Cheers to everyone I met - well done for finding out I don't bite; amazingly considering the amount of whingers on the Forum I didn't meet a single one of them - just dedicated Speedway fans one and all. If you're heading out to Oz on the next TPTour you're in for a treat as I'm Official Interpreter for that one, so I'll see you in January. Hoo Roo! -
Has anyone got an internet link for this one? (one that works in Oz!)
-
Geez, Shazz, next thing you'll be telling me about Hans team-riding at Poole SWC in 2004!! ................we'll hafta agree ta differ here. Now don't forget, Heathrow tonight, there's room in me suitcase for ya!! (And don't tell me ya hafta wash yer hair!!)
-
Maybe I was watching a different event, but I never saw any team riding at either Peterborough or Leszno, only dedicated young athletes representing their country as best they could. To suggest otherwise is an insult to anyone's intelligence and just goes to show the class of moron that posts on here occasionally.

You beat me to it, Rob. Why wait for the facts when you can make up a bulldust rumour to stir the possum? He's got dual nationality, by the way, and if he wants to enhance his knowledge of his chosen sport in any way that he can surely he should be encouraged? I was told he's got 'til he's 21 to decide one way or the other but I can't confirm that.

I was hiding behind the Aussie flag, iris!! The Kirbys (with the Kangaroo) are legendary Aussie Speedway supporters who travel over each year or so to take in the best of European Speedway; with the latest news about the Gold Coast Speedway at Labrador going down the gurgler they're a bit like me, have to travel a few klicks for their Speedway Fix!! As for Camel Toes, its a bit hard to describe on a family forum so you might hafta google up Camel Toe on You Tube, or failing that PM me your email address and I'll send you the "I see your Camel Toe" video clip!! -
We heard from the TravelPlus fans who went there after SWC that the Cops wouldn't let them off the bus due to the visiting fans rioting - apparently the riders thought the track was unsafe and the fans went off! Riot Police were in attendance - fun & games!!
-
Wow! That's gotta be some week of Speedway!! Luckily the Home Team got up otherwise a certain select few Antipodean fans wouldn't have got out alive! Gutted for Boycey and the boys and as usual I cannot comprehend some of the drivel posted on here by so-called fans, so-and-so cost Oz the meeting FFS!! - this meeting was hard-fought by all concerned, and must rate as one of the closest on record - six heats to go and any team could have won - Poland to their credit came home the strongest. The extended delay gave some of us more opportunity to consume the Sponsor's product, and we did our very best. Superb track and some excellent racing made for a True World Cup - a great advert for the sport. I'll be back - although when I've got no idea. Both Oz & GB have some great riders coming through so the future looks good.

Naturally I feel. sorry for all youse mob over there who hafta sit around at home but spare a thought for us mob drinkin' Polish Lager from 0730 tomorrow morning!! Earwiggo, Earwiggo, Earwiggo!!

If ever a place deserved the title "Perve Central" its the Square in Wroclaw! Spotted a coupla perfect "Tens" last night - gotta love it! On a fashion note Pedal Pushers are back in a big way in Polska, along with the accompanying Camel Toe! -
Well I'll be waving the Aussie Flag and doubtless Ian'll be blowing up his kangaroo one more time for a Team Oz Triumph!! Seriously, who cares who wins? We've seen some fantastic racing from the Best of the Best, let's hope its a dry night!

Swc - The Race Off
BigFatDave replied to Sandie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Magnificent Effort by Team Oz last night, now if they don't switch tracks on us in the final like the last SWC in Polska............ Also a big Tick for Team GB; they did real well, I just hope it means more people will get behind Rob Lyon and the boys - if ever a team deserved your support this is the one. Any news of Adam Shields? It looked a bad one from where I was sitting, and him not making the podium was a worry, also as we were leaving the stadium we were overtaken by an ambulance with lights flashing and an escort car following close at high speed, hopefully nothing to do with it tho'. Good to see Bomber's mechanic Ted displaying his Diplomatic Skills at the Pit gates, where an over-officious Security Guard tried to stop Danny King getting in. Ted told the wanna-be door-nazi to take his uniform off and go home, explaining to Danny that he only did it 'cos his wife beats him at home!! He later tried it on with AJ; pity for Team GB he didn't succeed! Aussie Supporters were heavily outnumbered by Team Oz but we still put on a good show! I would just like to apologise if I managed to invade any loungerooms but we sure looked menacing on the Big Screen!! what Ian Kirby was up to with his inflatable Kangaroo I'm not sure, but it was more suited to the X Rated channel! (This kezboard sorry keyboard in the Hotel is all to co#k, I press 'Y' and get 'Z'!! ) Apart from that a HUGE night, can't wait for Saturdaz! -

Couldn't agree more Iris, she's a trouper and that's for sure. I don't know how she came across on air last night but she was making all the right moves from where I was sitting. Good on her I reckon, at least she has a go rather than whinge all the time like some I could mention on here!! -

Fun & Games in sunny Polska with the Aussie Team outnumbering the supporters on the terraces, but we made up for it in Volume, if not Alcohol Consumption. The Kirbys' inflatable Kangaroo won't go down on us, that's for sure!! Hopefully No 1 Fan Mark Webber can make it for the final, that'll get the numbers up!! Interesting language, Polish. Lotsa words are the same or similar - Traktor, Policja etc but that doesn't help much when yer ordering breakfast. By Geez some of the Polish Security you wouldn't wanna mess with, especially the Sheilas!! (Oooooooooh, Women in Uniform!! Beat me Whip me Spank me make me write bad cheques, I've been a naughty boy!!) -

Might be best to wait 'til after the practice before we let the rumours run amok! Meanwhile, the perve is A1 in Wroclaw, the tucker's OK andthe beer fulfils the three major requirements - Its cold, its wet and it gets ya rotten! -

Apparently he's mortgaged the missus and is all booked for Froggyland next month - I'm looking forward to hearing about him & Ronny running amok in the land of Snails. I'm sure he'll read me signature before he goes. -
