  5. Don't talk to me about seeticket! I'm suffering the slings & arrers with me Cardiff Ticket - they kept telling me it'll be on its way soon! Well hello, less than 48 hours to blast-off and no furshluginer ticket. Phoned 'em last night Loooooooooooooooooooooong Distance and it'll be at the Box Office 1500hrs Saturday, Whoop de Doo, which means one irate BFD fronting for practise on Friday Arvo with an extremely bad Antipodean attitude - what's new you may ask? - so what are you lookin' at, pal?? (not at youse, voggers!) PS Just had a thought - Hornets Friday Night - now all I need is a lift.

  11. I'll see you there Sue!! Staying at the Marriott, which my mate Speigal assures me is most salubrious and doesn't change the bedsheets every hour.
  12. If you haven't seen Heliospheres before you're in for a treat - they did the Arafura Games opening in Darwin in '07 and were at the Treasury Gardens venue at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in '06.
  13. Alas, Seb, I'm strictly a "one's too many, one hundred's not enough" kindaguy. I'm just a guy who can't say nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn........................... ..............!!
  14. The only decline I've ever seen from Leigh was at the Mildura Clubhouse late one night when he was asked to stay for one more beer!
  15. As long as the price is right!! $9.50 for a can of Jim Beam at the V8's yesterday - luckily I took me hip flask, $3 for a stubby of Coke! And did I mention the mighty Blue Oval 1-2'd yesterday - Jamie Whincup 1st, "Frosty" Winterbottom 2nd, 35 lapper, today its the 200km race - Go FORD!!
  16. From the TPCR Website: With Deepest Sympathy Posted Friday, 19 June 2009 by Steven Green The hearts and lives of the worldwide speedway community are saddened by the news of the passing of Brian Healey, co-owner of Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. Brian suffered a heart attack whilst at work in Sacramento on Thursday (USA time). He is survived by his partner Sherrie and their daughters April and Courtney and his son Byron. Many will remember Brian as the man that introduced 410ci Sprintcar engines into Australia and subsequently the ‘Outlaws Downunder’ events at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. Brian was instrumental in all the Australian tours conducted by his close friend, Sprintcar legend, Steve Kinser. On behalf of everyone at Parramatta City Raceway and the Speedway community at large we pass on our heartfelt condolences to Sherrie, Courtney, April, Byron and the rest of their families.
  17. Would you like me to take yer missus to the Entertainment?
  18. I'm deeply touched - but then you probably knew that anyway!! I can still force down a Crownie or twelve but I've switched to Blondes - Low-carb beer that is. I still guzzle just as much but I feel so much lighter!!
  19. More like Nitrous Oxide - just for a laugh!! Did I ever tell you about the time we managed to "Liberate" Melbourne's entire supply of NO2? Bottler!!
  20. I just saw this on the Bees thread - yep, gotta get me thrills somehow and' I surely love them big V8's!! Mind you, it was a sad day for Oz Speedway when they started puttin' Clay everywhere - bring back Mixed Meetings! There's just so much happenin' in Darwin, some times I miss out - 'specially if me beloved Richmond TIGERS are on the Telly on a Saturday Night. (Plus I'm a bit old for monster trucks thanxx, puberty was a long time ago!)
  21. No Wuckin' Furries, Mariusz! Less than a week to go an' I'm in serious holiday mode already - @#%$ Work - Let's Party!!
  22. Watching Justin Sedgmen - tall for his age - ride against Arthur Sissis - we're talkin' Camel Jockey here - at Gillman in Justin's last year on 125's I swear Arthur passed him between his legs. He seems to be doin' OK on the big 'uns now!
