  1. Aha! as i thought. Thought you had nodded off Alan you been quiet tonight, what you up to. We need your wisdom!
  2. Maybe Pawel is watching Polish tv in which case they usually tend to have any news first. There were quite a few feeds given earlier in the thread. Gollob in a huff risking getting knocked out if it comes to countback he turned around and didn't finish! Fantastic heat 12 hope not too many had already drifted away from watching the meeting.
  3. I remember asking this once before a few years ago but nobody knew the answer. Does Nicki Pedersen have some sort of problem with blood pressure or controlling his body temperature (in a medical not temperamental sense). He always, (often no matter what the weather is) has to have someone hold a fan to his face. Yeah what poor soul had the job centre give him that vacancy lol. Well done Tai great ride.
  4. Uh Oh don't these two have history! Good to see the handshake at the end, i was wondering if one of them would lose sight of the fact sometimes bumping and banging without malicious intent happens in a hard race.
  5. Not sure that NIgel and Kelvin would make good journalists. It's great that they make a big meal of good crowds and racing but no comment at all on quite a big talking point that is the sparse crowd. God that vicious jerking movement could have been very nasty for Darcy, glad he's moving. Do agree that Kelvin is being very informative these days regards informing viewers of racing technique etc.
  6. 50 minutes in 4 heats completed! The 'heat' girl is the hottest by far and i reckon she likes men.
  7. Tooooo observant lol. One in particular looks a right odd bod makes Bjork seem normal.
  8. Glad we had a good race there, as i was about to say after the high of Bydgoszcz last time out any new fans would be put off by Gothenburg and, unless they have truly changed the track, Prague next time. Way to kill momentum or what? lol. Let's hope we get more good racing tonight and Prague has a new raceable track.
  9. Where are the pits situated in the middle of the street? Gee even the passers-by have no interest and shuffle by without a glance. No team in Cardiff but 40,000+ Agree totally on Malilla, i mentioned recently i'd prefer a packed atmospheric Malilla than a cavernous yodel-able Ullevi
  10. Wow think i've seen bigger crowds on Premier Sports coverage of the Swedish League (lowest crowd ever for this stadium's SGP?).....anyways let's hope for some great speedway to praise and be happy about.
  11. Ouch shocking first pan of the stadium on tv over here, hope it was from earlier tons empty spaces. Waiting to see how it looks when this camera angle pulls out (they might be zoomed in on the only huddle of fans in the stadium lol) Ouch my ears hurting ABBA is dead and this guy for sure don't make anyone shout long live the King
  12. Nice to see multiple links abound, if the riders have three bikes makes sense for those who use them to have three streams
  13. I'm sure Tai Woffinden has a good idea of how Emil is feeling right now, all very sad.
  14. I hope that the higher figures are more accurate that would be fantastic. I was well pleased when i saw the crowd on the video as Sportowefakty had mentioned there were around 2,000 at the start of the meeting. I'm not a good judge of crowd numbers, however, one observation i will make is that if that crowd was only around the 2,000 mark then the UK attendance figures are even worse than i thought. Aaaah! 'Bahnsport Aktuell' a blast from the past! i used to subscribe to that many moons ago and received it via (slow) air mail.
  15. Had a quick glance at a couple of weather forecasts and they have changed to no rain tomorrow. There's a basic radar map available here http://www.foreca.se/Sweden/Goteborg?map=radsum
  16. A 20 minute video of the meeting is here http://falubaz.com/ Nice to see lots of those rare things that you don't see many of in the UK......yeah that's right......fans!
  17. Yeah i had a typo, but the scorechart directly below it was right in two places . Explanation and kerfuffle surrounding the non run-off here http://www.sportowef...ie-w-finale-ime

  19. Apparently a meeting with good racing and a grand 7,000 fans in Daugvapils, Latvia progress to the World Team Cup 'proper'. Biggest surprise to me was the domination the hosts had over Germany. I would have loved to see the upcoming German side progress. Result: Latvia 45 Maxim Bogdanov - 13 (3,2,3,2,3) Vyacheslav Gieruckis - 6 (1,2,1,1,1) Kjastas Puodżuks - 11 (3,2,2, 2.2) Andrew Lebedev - 15 (3,3,3,3,3) Slovenia 30 Matej Zagar - 20 (2,3,3,6!, 3.3) Alexander Conda - 4 (2,0,1, d, 1) Maks Gregoric - 3 (1.1 , 0,0,1) Matic Voldrih - 3 (0,1,1, -, 1) Germany 28 Martin Smolinski - 13 (2,3,4!, w, 1,3) Kevin Woelbert - 8 (2, a, 0,1,3,2) Max Dilger - 2 (1 , 1, -, -, w) Tobias Busch - 5 (1,1,2,1,0) Ukraine 22 Andrey Karpov - 7 (0,2,3,0,2) Stanislaw Mielniczuk - 4 (0,0,0,2,2) Andrey Kobrin - 2 (0,0,2, d, 0, d) Aleksander Łoktajew - 9 (3,3,1,2, -)
  20. I just would have thought the reporting from the terraces complements other sources such as online articles, news, reports, scores etc. both before and after the event. Why would someone at an event or upon coming home from one not express their views just because other sources have been quoted?. I'd certainly value highly opinions and feedback from someone who was there, don't see why they should only be available upon mandatory exclusion of other mediums. Anyway, i'm off for an early night to dream of a BSF without hassle lol lol.
  21. EH? Lol dear, oh, dear, a huff of the extreme kind. Is nobody allowed to report or comment on something unless they were in attendance? I'd love to hear from someone who was there. Ok Iris , YAWNNNNNNNNN!, it's up to you, but if you wish to spend your time trying to pick out a negative angle from posts i make, as you devotedly, slavishly and obsessively follow me around the forums well fine, it's clearly your loss, embarrassment and waste of time. However, be assured whenever i'm bored enough to do so, i will respond and put you in your place. Just can't be bothered most of the time as i got a life to live which i'm heartily enjoying. More a case of 'those who run speedway'!!! lol. The actual basic sport itself is fantastic but unfortunately it's up against quite a handicap in those who organize it and make the rules.
  22. If Leon had been able to take part we could well have had a tied result. Ok Sweden over to you to live up to your neighbours, we hope we get an equaly good meeting on Tuesday. Very enjoyable meeting.
  23. Cool, it's turned out as forecast a close result. A bit skewed by the fact no Leon Madsen in the final race? By the way if you want to see tv HD lighting tune into Barcelona-Bayern Munich match lol, very impressive.
