Swindon Robins V Coventry Bees 26th May 2015

Totally agree with your comments Mike, so good to see Kyle doing well in the difficult No2 position. I was disappointed to see him leave Coventry but great to see him continuing on from his excellent season last year. -

Ah right, does it? It wasn't clear in the post. Thanks for clearing that up. -

£14 is a bit steep, isn't it? -

Closer than most predicted but I reckon we can go to Monmore on Monday and win with the riders we have that go well at Wolves. -
How do you ever make the breakthrough then?

No, the incident on the track happened around 10.10 if I remember correctly. It took 15/20 minutes to get the injured party conscious and into the ambulance. The referee then came down in to the pits to talk to the riders and management. By that time it was 10.30. -

Only a rider from one team leapt over the barrier flaying into the crowd so no, both teams are not equally to blame. Cradley supporters right next to me were goading Storm riders. -
Agree with your comments entirely PTP, all the lads gave their all and weren't afraid to mix it especially in the first few heats when the track was quite difficult to ride. I think the scoreline flattered the Storm rather as it looked like it was going to be very close and losing Simon Lambert help Stoke. Enjoyable meeting though as most NL meetings are!
-
We were in 2 minds whether to go Gem, but did in the end. My granddaughter was looking for the lady with the dog!! ;-)
-
Good meeting tonight, shame Simon Lambert had to pull out towards the end. All the Storm lads contributed tonight.

Thanks mdmc!

Planning to set off from Warwick in 30 mins, do you think it will be on? Raining here but not very heavy at the moment.
-
Yes, like you woz, not sure how they compare with the other NL teams but it does seem to be a pretty decent team. The promotion have a done a good job. Nielsen, the Sarj and Greenwood look to be a strong top 3. Glad to see there is a place for Martin Knuckey again this season.
-
Tracks are better prepared on Eurosport too!!
-
Geodemiddag greygoundp!!
-
The 'Sarj' and Ollie Greenwood sign up! The teams shaping up nicely!!
-
Really chuffed that Luke & Martin have been signed up for next season. I am sure that can both kick on and improve in 2014. Martin in particular looked a bit despondent at times last season but I am sure he will repay the faith shown in him by the promotion and team manager!
-
Yes agree, will definately make a good Christmas pressie!!
-
Very poor show from the Poole promoter. But of course his supporters on here will have every excuse as to why what he did was correct. And what informing his sponsors has got to do with officially leaking the news is beyond me.
-
Ah good. I like Martin, I thought he was unlucky working his way into good positions on difficult tracks and then coming a cropper. All good experience I guess.
-
How long before the knives are out for James?!
-
Yes, Cornwall I believe - hence the ex Bomber kevlars!!! Really tough for up and coming young riders with the cost of equipment etc.
-
Nice post - totally agree with you comments re Martin. As mentioned here: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=73946&st=30
