  1. found them in a ditch up the road , can't touch them until the Police are finished but look to be undamaged
  2. did spin king ask YOU ? no so butt out , or are you so thick that you cannot understand . I. DON'T LIKE POEPLE SPEAKING ON MY BEHALF . especially when it's an arsehole like you !!
  3. yes it was .i dont like people speaking on my behalf .
  4. where did you bring them from?
  5. Don't tar me with that brush thank you . just becuase you are a sycophant dont assume that everyone else is
  6. All the young uns had a great night , which was great to see . Bates beating Desperate Dirty Doyle ,was the highlight for me
  7. I think a good place to start would be with tyres . whats the good of an overpriced narrow power band engine if the tyre can't convert it to forward motion . you will never stop the Likes of Johns fleecing a few top riders for every bean he can bleed from the sport , but you can remove the advantage provided by the unecessary expense , hard compund tyres that last 3 meetings and back to a total ban on titanium .best place to start IMHO
  8. I would love to see a few of the senior team riders show a bit of interest in their young counterparts , and pass on a bit of advise /encouragement . I think some of them would be surprised how effective and appreciated a couple of minutes would be
  9. Still wont stop the riders wanting to get to the airport , and it would kill the MDL , which is the only real way of getting kids involved these days . you only have to look at the bottom end of this years NL . to see the good that MDL is doing . I know most people leave and dont watch it .but that doesnt matter , becuase the kids are part of a team and learning all the other aspects of speedway . they dont get paid and it costs nothing to stage . winner all round IMHO
  10. who is going to ride in these rider of the night events ? and furthermore who is going to pay them ?
  11. Add to that ,, sporadic fixtures pandering to Poland , and the boredom of seeing same teams every few weeks , Only an Egomaniac Like Hemsley could possibly view Elite League as an improvement , as for music . for me it only enhances memories ,certain songs from back when music was music .immediately transport me to a certain track at a certain time .Oddly enough theres not one for my home track of over 50 years . modern muzak does absolutley nothing for me . squawking teenage bints and black rappers certainly are no enhancement to my entertainment , much rahter a bit of banter between opposing fans or just a sensible conversation with a friend suits me . and certainly "smack my bitch up and shoot ma bro " is not going to create and pleasant memories
  12. as long as you get to see some decent speedway ( says that with tongue firmly in cheek ,considering the venue ) , what does it matter ,neither team has a snowballs of the playoffs ,so the result is pretty much Immaterial
  13. Dissapointed we couldnt hand out a thrashing , but 10 points will do
  14. Of course theres always 1 person you can claim makes a counter argument , but it's a bit crap really , how about I say .well we must be doing something right, because Dan Bewley got an 18 point max in his first NL meeting , our system has to be working for a Kid like that to come from nowhere and be something special immediately
  15. The worst sports commentator /presenter by a very long way Chris Kamara ,
  16. when I thought this would be our last home encounter .I was seriously hoping for Bees to kick their arses on a epic scale .leave them with fond memories of always being second best , however with the news of at least a 1 year stay of execution , I would gladly accept a 50 point win
  17. Block him mater .and dont be tempted to read his rubbisht
  18. we are still using Castrol " R" dont know why its doesn't smell the same
  19. well 2 elite tracks were set to be closed this year . Arena and Coventry , I know Coventry have a stay of execution but dotn know about arena for 2017 , Leicester look to be on shaky ground with their Leasee in trouble both financially and with the BSPA , In Leicester's case amalgamation would likely be a lifesaver . as Hemsleys Ego would remain intact in the top division , while the supporters get regular racing and at a level where a winning teram is a distinct possibility and affordable
  20. Obviously , staging a GP is a money loser , thats why the Poles have ditched one of their rounds this year
  21. Yes , whateveer happened to the sports council funded Jan .O Pedersen training academy ?
  22. I would say it's a little too far to say that they were already high standard when they arrived here . someone like SCB would most likely be able to show the statistics that give an accurate picture of that , but taking the case of holder who i assume would be someone you would say was out of the box ready . yet he spent 3 seasons in premier league working his way up . had he remained in Australia riding in filler races in car meetings that is exactly where he would have been today . Doyle been racing in the UK for 11 years . up until 2 years ago ,he was a journeyman premier league heat leader and eltie second string . so not exactly out of the box ready . the fact that Aussies achieve a higher standard more quickly once they arrive here is born of necessity , when they want sunday dinner ,they have to go and earn it , when british riders cant afford sunday dinner they nip home to mum and dad . and for every chris holder , there are 10 journeymen Aussies who are at best mediocre ,
  23. you really are a halfwit aren't you , you quote latvians and admit to not knowing anything about whats going on there , well heres a shock for you , they were not 5 riders who had been going round in a field somewhere and turned up at the world cup . Daugavpils race in the Polish league and are currently second in their division , and some of the 5 are regulars in Polish elite league .. yes britain does take credit for Ivan Mauger, Barry Briggs , and Ronnie Moore , lets go halfwit...... .name an Australian, American , or Kiwi , who were not riding in Our leagues when they won their world titles . your silence will speak volumes on your lack of knowledge here . as far as Im aware Hans Nielsen and all the other nordic world champions started riding in the leagues in their own country and became skilled professional riders there so I make and never have made any claim for their success whatsoever .
  24. The Usa have produced No world champions at all . we have done it for them .
  25. Richard hall without a ride . arthur sissis still has . say no more !!
