I agree.. I was hoping maybe the Supporters Association would of tried to organise something, or at least put these ideas forward or any ideas they had. They could keep peoples money safe in their bank account to.

That’s why I think paying say £15-20 a month over a period of time 3 or 4 years more people might be more inclined to do it, rather than paying £1000 outright. £100 might work but even if got 1000 people to do it.. it would be a good start towards a new track but would still need more funds and to find somewhere.

Got to dream and have hope… Probably won’t happen but who knows further down the line. Teams like Redcar have shown it can be done.

If only we had 100 people/businesses or whoever who could contribute say £80 a month over 4 years. That’s 385k. If guaranteed we could find a track I think some people would including myself.

This is what needs to happen really it’s just costs for new track etc and how many would contribute etc. We would need businesses, fans, maybe even ex riders to get involved. Its finding the track and that could be the problem.

There was a message sent to members by email and then a message on the Supporters Association Facebook. I agree the older people or people not on Facebook / or who weren’t members would not of known unless it was in papers or on the forum. I was hoping there would be some plan of something going forward or hope to cling onto but it doesn’t seem like it.

Why did you think that? I agree there didn’t seem lots of interest or wasn’t really advertised much either.

I am sure he said before that he didn’t realise you could only use a tac sub once originally. Is he still away team manager for Poole? God knows who thought it was a good idea to have him as co commentator!

We bought tickets in between 3rd and 4th tier. Tickets only £20 and can just sit wherever really nearer back as always tons of space.

Definitely and to be strutting around Berwick in his Diamonds gear so soon after his shocking effort this year is a joke. Daft thing is if he pulled the plug last season no one would of blamed him.

It’s things like this that annoy you, no other club in whole of speedway would refuse any sponsorship however big or small. It now seems he went into the season with lack of commitment and if any problems he would just pull the plug, despite taking sponsorship money off others. Well done to Mama Potts for telling him her feelings last night… shame I didn’t bump into him so I could tell him mine.. oh and he now has an unofficial bodyguard following him around haha

Charles Wright never got a chance due to the pandemic did he? Absolute shambolic decision.

Bradley Wilson Dean.. always was an awful signing had never had a great meeting at brough and never been a number 1. I am sure he only averaged 5 or 6 last time he rode properly. Grants first big error of the season.

It didn’t help that they had the show on the Friday and were that stupid not to have a meeting on the Sunday. Even one of the riders mentioned that there should of been a meeting when people were interested. Leave something 10 days and people won’t bother, why not give out cheaper tickets instead of leaflets. Opportunity missed to at least try and increase attendances. Granty was to bothered with burger van most of day.

The above was a lie from the club as per usual as in a later post in comments section they said it would depend on sale of club and assets. We could be waiting a while or might not get it back at all. If only they cared as much as we do!
