  1. No, it was only a rumour. Same as information about Jacek's really serious problems with his collarbone, Rickardsson's viral infection etc... I forgot to say that Andreas Jonsson have signed with Polonia Bydgoszcz for 2006 . He did it just before the match.
  2. Congratulations to Tarnow on the Championship title, they were just better. And as we can see, all those odd preparations with their track in Tarnow were really unnecessary - Tarnow would have won without it as well, maybe only not so easily... Congratulations to Bydgoszcz on the Silver medals. Our boys did their best and I am proud of them PS And sorry for all those idiots who threw bottles tonight. They are a dishonour of Bydgoszcz and all normal fans are really ashamed of such idiots...
  3. As a member of Polonia Bydgoszcz fan club I have some sources saying that Jaca's performance on Sunday's match is still not so firm... But I'm not saying anything more - it's better to be nice surprised with a piece of information that he cannot ride than going there to the stadium with high hopes that he won't ride... I guess you said it ironically, didn't you? But speaking seriously - I really hope that there won't be idiots throwing anything on him... Boos or showing back is enough what he deserves from local fans.
  4. Answering the question in your last sentence - I think that only Wroclaw are rich enough to afford to get Gollobs... Anyway, I think that is still too early to begin such discussions about theoretical transfers etc. Let's wait for the final results and then when the atmosphere chills a bit and most "businesses" of the 2005 season become finished, I'd willingly join you in those never-ending talks about transfers, new sponsors, chances of newly built teams etc... Very well said I see you get the point of the whole matter perfectly. Cannot promise we will manage to do this but I assure that we will do everything in our power! And if we are to fall in this fight, we will fall with an honour.
  5. That's not a rumour but a confirmed piece of information. It's what was said at the stadium in Tarnow during the match against Bydgoszcz. It's a good idea I think and a great opportunity for those who cannot go to Bydgoszcz to watch the final match together. And this is a rumour. But that doesn't sound impossible - with such big money of Rafineria Trzebinia it should be no problem for them to organize a helicopter from Bydgoszcz to Tarnow. Anyway, if Bydgoszcz somehow would reach 56 points I wonder what they are gonna do there in Tarnow... a mass "harakiri"? "Tarnow - the party is cancelled" - I'd love to say it on Sunday's night but I'm afraid I won't have a chance...
  6. Not a bad idea, but Wroclaw is the best anyway And Zielona Gora and Torun don't have spotlights at their stadiums.. For me an ideal World Cup week would be something like this: Gdansk - Bydgoszcz - Wroclaw. Gdansk and Wroclaw are lovely (I mean pubs and night life generally), Bydgoszcz is Bydgoszcz so that should be a really cracking trip
  7. Congrats to Rzeszow but why did they choose Sawina to ride in the bonus heat?...
  8. Some pics from our trip to Tarnow can be found here and here (my pics in big res) as well
  9. Today I was told that there's gonna be an official protest against the ref's decision to GKSZ.
  10. Some Polonia fans fell out of friendship with Tomek two years ago when he left us. But the majority did not... And I don't think that it will change because of one Jacek's reckless action. It's not Tomek who caused PePe's fall. Over 19.000 and it's an official info, not fans' estimates or something. And rather hot...
  11. Wladyslaw Gollob, Gollob bros' father said today on Tarnow's "Radio Maks": "Protasiewicz maliciously crushed Jacek!" I've always known that Mr.Wladyslaw is an idiot but not such an idiot...
  12. Please check out how that awful crash in the heat 10 looked from our point of view in the cage: J.Gollob v PePe crash - heat 10 ..and look at that water at the track / EDIT: J.Gollob v PePe crash - heat 10 (faster download version)
  13. Well, I've never been escorted by the police, maybe because I don't travel much. However, it's not such a standard procedure. For example in Torun the police usually escape quickly to avoid conflict situations.. And in Gdansk you have only security guards which are members of hools groups in majority I'd rather say that our coach might not come back in piece, not we as people. We had a very bad experience last time in Tarnow on a railway station and I don't think that some groups of "fans" (?) that gathered around the cage after the match had a friendly attitude... And my friend's dad that came to Tarnow yesterday with his wife was beaten by some squirts only because of the fact he didn't want give them his scarf. All in all I must say that the police worked very well yesterday and thanks to that our coach with big labels "PKS Bydgoszcz" came back with all glasses unbroken. You're right, I don't disagree with you in this point. From the cage we had a pretty good view at this accident. Today I watched a short cut downloaded from the internet and I stay with my opinion. So do many people. And I don't make Jacek such evil. He rode totally recklessly and brutally. I only expected a deserved punishment for him - an exclusion. Just a justice that hasn't come... Looks like Wojaczek excluded PePe only for riding on the outside. And such things like "f..k you" gesture shown by one of an ambulance crew only negatively warmed the atmosphere. Believe me - they are very angry now. I also hope that both teams will finish this season without any victims but you can forget about fair-play riding in Bydgoszcz. I don't mean that they're gonna fence each other but I wouldn't expect leaving any room near the fence by Bydgoszcz riders.
  14. I think there was no contact between them but I'd have to watch on tv to be 100% sure. Anyway, it was rather PePe's fault this time. Unlike to the situation in the heat 10 PS. My friend had a call from the management of Polonia about yesterday. Everyone's there even more angry than we and there will be no mercy on 25/09. We got a free hand for fence-banners, riders have got a free hand for their ride at the track... Tarnow started, we will finish
  15. J.Gollob smashed PePe into the fence using his elbow as well and that f..ker Wojaczek excluded PePe. I've never seen anything like that before and never been so angry like yesterday! J.Gollob rode totally reckless and Wojaczek has proved once again how stupid/blind he is.. One word to describe it: SCANDAL And it's not only my opinion as a guy from Bydgoszcz but almost everywhere (apart from Tarnow of course..) fans share this view. Bydgoszcz weren't good yesterday but such an idiotic decision only finished us mentally... But our riders fought till the end and I'm proud of them. That decision caused a very bad atmosphere in the pits and mainly at the audience. We had been supporting favourably applausing riders of both teams till the heat 10 but then an unnecessary aggression exploded. The riot police got in and pacified some of most aggressive ultras. Finally there were more riot police units than fans in our Bydgoszcz sector... We left the stadium 45 minutes after the match ended because of security reasons. Then a convoy of police vans had to escort us throught Tarnow and far away from the suburbs if wanted to come back home in one piece... That all was really not gonna happen if the match would be played fair... Now looking forward to the revenge in Bydgoszcz. I still believe in our team. "Protasiewicz asem, Wojaczek kutasem!" - translation only via pm
  16. Sorry - I've missed this post. So a short translation but looks like you've already got the point: Mateusz Szczepaniak is recovering faster and faster. He has already started his trainings (in a gym), soon he's gonna come back to normal trainings at a speedway track. We don't know yet if he's gonna ride at Bydgoszcz on Sunday (now we know he didn't ride). All fans look forward to his come back. Mateusz Szczepniak has been much supported by Czestochowa fans during his rehabilitation. Everything seems that he's gonna come back on a track even this year. While queuing in front of the gates before the Bydgoszcz GP some fans also called three Robacki's pizzas and they delivered it to that queue! However, I never eat there because of a sad fact that they don't sell beer in this pizza restaurant
  17. Thanks - very useful. It says 10 litres of spirits - not bad then It means 20 Zubrówka vodkas - Rico, get ready lol
  18. Our SGP/SWC meetings season is over now. But it was a really big one - Wroclaw GP, SWC (definitely my best speedway trip ever - especially for one reason ) and Bydgoszcz GP... Now we can only wait for BSI schedules for next year and as Rico said - if all being well - plan trips for 2006. What is sure now - next year I'll visit Britain and probably (if I get a summer job) stay there for a longer time than just the Cardiff GP Rico, do you know anything about limits of alcohol that could be taken in a luggage while travelling by a plane? PS In November RyanAir start with their Bydgoszcz-London regular cheap flights
  19. Yes, but no doubt T.Rick would have done better that time than Wardzala or Burza.. Summing it all up - In my opinion if Bydgoszcz finish in Tarnow with about 40 points we will have a fantastic final match in Bydgoszcz on 25th September 2005
  20. I really wanted such a final. Maybe even more than against Torun Indeed, it was 48:42 for Tarnow there and 48:42 for Bydgoszcz here so no one got a bonus point! But we have to remember that Tarnow rode the 1st match (this one at their track) without T.Rick and it was easier for Bydgoszcz to do there a good result. If I'd have to estimate chances of both teams it would be about 65% for Tarnow and 35% for Bydgoszcz but I must believe in our boys
  21. If somehow Bydgoszcz manage to gain there in Tarnow at least 38-40 points there will still be a chance to beat them at home. If less - we can only wait for a miracle here... Anyway, I think this year's final will go down in history - mainly because of Gollob bros riding against their former home team in the final battle...
  22. Smash - not. Defeat them - maybe? Anyway, we will finish at least with the silver medal and after a season of survive (with no budget they made a poor team that luckily ended on the 6th place..) it's a fanstastic come back of the GREAT POLONIA BYDGOSZCZ, one of the most successful team in Polish speedway, that have won Ekstraliga 4 times in recent years (1997, 1998, 2000, 2002) and 7 times at all Earlier I sent her my words of corncern. But to be honest we all knew that Zielona Gora were almost relegated after they hadn't managed to win against Gdansk at their home track...
  23. WE HAVE SMASHED CZESTOCHOWA! POLONIA BYDGOSZCZ !!!
