Tomek Gollob, Jacek Gollob, Pawel Hlib -> Tarnow Lukas Dryml -> Tarnow (but only for a few matches)
-
Uhm, yeah, I just meant the teams that are interested in Gollobs
-
Of course it would. Now there's only Rzeszow left with only one GP rider, but if they couldn't sign with Max then I can't see them signing with Gollobs (or at least Tomek) There's a chance that Tarnow' squad is going to be completed this friday ;]
-
And probably there's also going to be a derby meeting at the start, becouse of the Tarnow riding first match at Rzeszow.
-
That's becouse the last day of november was the last day of signing contracts without being placed on the transfer list.
-
According to Unia Tarnow's president Tomek and Jacek are already set-up for resigning, all of financial matters of contract have been set and there have just some other matters left to talk about, but he assures that it's going to be finished in a few days time.

20.09.1992 (?); Poland, E-league meeting Stal Rzeszow - Unia Tarnow (at Rzeszow). Classic speedway derby, two teams that fans don't "like" each other and stadium full of them, hot atmosphere. Wiggy riding with Tarnow. Wiggy was riding somewhere in Germany just a day before (saturday evening) and Rzeszow management set the meeting start on... 11 in the morning with hope that Wiggy won't manage to arrive to Rzeszow on time and Rzeszow beats Unia. 10.55 - Wiggy arrives at the stadium. No preparations, no test-riding. About 11 first heat of the meeting: Jacek Rempala and Wiggy vs. J.Stachyra and Slaczka. Wiggy won this heat (Rempala 2nd), and... set a brand new track record. Final score: Rzeszow 42, Tarnow 48, Simon scored 13+1. That's how Wiggy became a hero of Unia Tarnow, and that's how he's going to be remembered forever by Unia' fans.

Well, looks like that's not going to happen Originally - a month ago, during a meeting with the head director of The Polish Automobile & Motorcycle Federation (PZM) - the idea of 2 foreign riders was voted negative. Yesterday there was no foreign-riders voting until the end of the meeting, when some EL team directors left the meeting and went home. A few of them stayed and two of them (from Czestochowa and Gdansk) announced... foreign-riders voting Of course THEN they had voted it positive, while the opponents were missing (it's all according to Gazeta Pomorska newspaper) Extra foreign rider idea is most likely to be blocked by PZM. Luckily that circus called GKSZ is going to be closed next month and replaced by a brand new governing body.

Is this an official news, taken from FIM (http://www.fim.ch/en/default.asp) ? Because there isn't any other source verifying this, even official SGP page.

Reading ?

There are three Helmet competitions in Poland: Bronze Helmet (U-19 riders with best league averages), Silver Helmet (U-21 riders with best league averages), and Golden Helmet (all riders with best league averages). Now Jano has won all of them Uhm, could you point me any www pages or news with rumours of BSI taking over Reading ?
-
Uhm, that's the choice between 1st and 3rd division, quite large difference

Ekstra Liga Grand Final - 11-09-05
Champion replied to Subedei's topic in International World of Speedway
So what is Bydgoszcz than ? They have more riders "grown up" in other clubs than Unia The only Unia' riders that aren't originally trained in Tarnow are Gollobs (and foreigner rider of course, which is Ricki at the moment). -
Heat 2 - a real disaster. Four riders fell, all of them (!!) taken to hospital ! Grzegorz Dzik - a few bones heavily bruised, suspicion of two back bones broken Siergiej Darkin - brain, backbone and lung damaged, fighting for his life at the moment Andriej Karpow - backbone broken I don't even know all these words in english to describe what happened. Shock !

The Holta Kaspzak Incident In Poland
Champion replied to tarabanko's topic in International World of Speedway
The banner with deer and Holta refered to the first Leszno-Czestochowa meeting, when rough Holta riding caused K.Kasprzak to fall, and Kasprzak's family to punch and kick him, etc. It's the polish road sign: which means "wild animals". The banner behind the plane said "Only Falubaz" - it was caused by the Zielona Gora fans (their club used to be named Falubaz and they still prefer that name) and the purpouse of that banner was to irritate Leszno fans. Leszno and Zielona Gora fans are... well... "in love" -

Polish Individual Championship
Champion replied to Leliwa's topic in International World of Speedway
Well, considering this: - it's the first Polish Individual Championship Final in Tarnow's history, - the last time that illumination system was used was in early 90's (or late 80's ?), - average attendace at Unia's stadium is one of the highest in Poland (while stadium capacity is about 18.000), - there are five Unia' riders in this final - speedway fans in Tarnow are already turned on I don't think that waiting on the day is a good idea -
