britmet
The Street / Crump dynasty took another Championship this week as 26 yr old Tayla Street won the NORA British Women's title at Smallbrook, IoW. She travelled to Croatia last month to finish 4th in the de facto Women's World Championship, i.e World Cup, and has been touring UK tracks since. With little more than 4-person fields for both NORA and BSPA/ACU Women's championships the latter is today seemingly dead. Notwithstanding, the ACU have established a Ladies Class in their newly established ACU British Flat Track Championship, - set up in parallel to DTRAs Nationals - , won in the inaugural year 2025 by Skye Adams, former DTRA F/T Hooligan champ in their mixed gender Nationals. https://speedwaychampions.yolasite.com/women-champions.php

I saw that, but only 3 competitors. Hats off to the Isle of Wight for giving the Women a chance. Perhaps the mid-week date and geographically remote location was a problem.
