I see Fredriksen is guesting for Oxford at Glasgow. If Plymouth are serious about a play-offs push then Oxford are their direct rivals for a play-off spot (Glasgow are secure imo).

While I don't expect Oxford to pick up points at Glasgow, if they do then Lasse's hurting Plymouth's chances I'd say.

Weather forecast is horrendous, Glasgow v Oxford off

More problems for Plymouth. I’ve just seen on Facebook that Ben Barker has had his appendix removed. He’s going to be out for a while

Lewy should be on with an update soonĀ

I wouldn't go as far as that, but I think dropped riders should get some form of compensation. For example if Trigger wanted to leave Plymouth he'd get a 28 day ban, so if Plymouth drop Trigger pay him (his average) for any Plymouth matches in the next 28 days (unless he gets signed elsewhere)?

Sorry but I can't agree with this, so a rider comes in, rides poorly, nowhere near their average or even worse rides with a complete lack of effort (I've seen plenty of those over the years) and a team then has to either stick with them or pay a fee to get rid. Nah I'm not having that, if you're poor at your job, you get sacked, a big difference from being made redundant.Ā

There is one blindingly obvious move.

Ā

IF

Ā

IF Scott Nicholls decides he is fit and wants to race he would just fit in to replace Barker.

Would transform Plymouth Team in that eventuality.

Garry was deep in conversation with him Wednesday

But what about riders who have upped their average & get dropped (like Trigger) or get dropped because someone else got injured (like Hume), what about riders who only get a handful of matches before being dropped (like Spencer)?

You say it's different to being made redundant, but what about the other way round, if I want to leave my job I'm not banned from working elsewhere for 28 days.

That's my issue, if clubs can drop riders at the drop of the hat, then riders should be able to leave clubs without a ban.

If riders get banned for 28 days, then clubs should pay them for 28 days!

How many matches has he missed for Plymouth? Or are you making things up again back up your statement with facts.

How do you come to that conclusion? Barker has scored double figures in the last 3 home matches.Ā

Have you ever got anything constructive to contribute on here.

All your snide little digs at mostly well everything bar your own team is incessant.

Has Rachel Reeves cut your pension, if she has then I apologise as your constant whining would be justified.

Wasn't there when Poole were down there for starters, not there today, how many home meetings have Plymouth hadĀ

After this meeting he’ll have missed 3 out of Plymouths 11 matches, I agree it’s frustrating but not nearly as frustrating as Jonas Knudsen missing the first 5 Oxford league meetings, plus when Plymouth signed Klindt he had no Polish commitments.

However I don’t see you raising an issue with the likes of the Knudsen one so maybe it’s just you having an inevitable dig at Plymouth.

Having a go at all of them really, taken the piss out of British speedway, perhaps if it does go to one league next season, we can do away with the ones not committed to speedway over hereĀ
