Believe me, I know how crap it is watching your team slowly die, but it's just one thing after the other. I'm sure Nigel Tolley means well, and he's probably put everything into the club (at his expense), but the whole thing has been a shambles. The writing probably should've been on the wall when Grim Reaper Rogers became involved, sadly. You have absolutely nailed it with your post👍👍👍

Well, apparently Brum can't do without his input and when they close he'll move on and poison the next outfit like advising promotions that riders such as Pawlicki and Milik(who hadn't ridden in the UK for over 10 years until they came to Brum) was the way forward🙄🙄🙄 How many more rolling eyes emojis do we need on a post🤔

I think you'll find its probably business as usual at BSPL towers, keep calm and carry on. Don't worry Coventry are definitely coming back! LagutaRacingFan
From what I hear, MJJ thought long and hard about his decision. He very much liked riding for Birmingham's promotion and their fans. It's a blow for Birmingham, but not really a huge one when you consider the tragic news that came out earlier this week. Brummies fans should go to every single meeting between now and the end of the season. As a Panthers fan, my biggest regret is not attending more matches at the Showground. flagrag
Although Birmingham knew when they signed MJJ that his initial contract was only until the end of May all indications from the rider to the club were that he was enjoying riding in UK even as much as bringing new engines over two weeks ago to suit British racing

I wonder if his Polish club placed any pressure on him?

You make it sound like Birmingham had a choice. If there was a rider of MJJ's quality that wanted to sign a contract for the whole season, Birmingham would have done it. They had to settle for MJJ on a two month contract, because nobody else wants to ride in the UK.

They announced the signing on the 16th of January, hardly a last minute signing, it was an open secret that he was only here for 2 months, yet they signed him anyway... not the first time they've done this. Although it's sad to lose another track, I can't say the promotion will be missed.

TTT
Think it's clear as day what the plan was. Sign MJJ on a short term contract to shift some season tickets and then cut costs early in the season once the punters have been reeled in. The 1-7 was way too expensive for a club that went public with financial issues, Musielak, Zagar and a ridiculous contract for Rew that made him jump at the chance of winning a wooden spoon. My money's on Troy Batchelor being the replacement for MJJ.
