Dan Thompson did he not want to ride for Glasgow this weekend? Nagel did he not want to ride for Glasgow this weekend? Mulford did he not want to ride for Redcar this weekend? Knudsen did he not want to ride for Oxford this weekend? They all had a choice to make, and there’s no correct one, as the majority of these riders are missing two league meetings for this tinpot competition, but I’m sure are privileged to ride for their country. I would hardly describe the Macon final as tinpot, especially as there was a semi earlier this month which enabled Denmark and GB to qualify. As this meeting has been in the calendar way before the British fixture list was published maybe the Championship fixtures are the problem instead ?
SaddlebowRoad
you can understand british fans getting frustrated with these meetings when they impact our fixtures however im all for whatever experience our young riders can get abroad against good opposition for years we didn't expose our youngsters to these kinds of meetings and it had a detrimental effect i hope cairns & rushen ride in them all whatever championship meetings they might miss as international experience will do them far more good
