If some youngsters can't cut it in the CHAMP then they've got no chance of cutting it against much better opposition in the PREM.

The ones who are good enough at CHAMP level, All get opportunities at PREM level.

Well you may not buy it, but you need to consider the realty of what one league means in terms of earnings. 
Assuming rates of pay remain the same then one league would mean a rider such as Howarth would lose at best 35% of his current pay but in reality  more likely 50%. 
So quite reasonable that in such circumstances a rider would need to quit the sport to take up full time employment  and no, in today’s job market, unlike yesteryear there is far less opportunity for a family man like Kyle to double up with conventional employment and riding speedway.

But there are so many riders who manage to ride a speedway bike and not double up leagues and still come back year after year. Why haven't they quit? Maybe it's because they are earning a decent income from speedway? Yes it's not much but if they pay was so bad they wouldn't bother at all. Howarth would be a fool to quit speedway because he couldn't ride in the premiership. The extra meetings in the championship plus a potential rise in crowds and TV deal would surely make it up for it. Plus he would be a heat leader. They can earn decent money. I think personally its just pure greed but I understand what your saying.

They can stop throwing money down a drain and take up an apprenticeship / career / job outside of the Sport.

You're totally fine with riders like Howarth and King losing the vast majority of their income and then basically calling them liars for saying that they'll retire if One Big League was to happen.

There are only a few established riders who do not double up. Those that don’t (putting aside those who ride in other countries in addition to UK) are by and large riders starting out. 
One league would not mean additional meetings because there would only be eight professional clubs (it’s the math of riders available).

Rory Schlein was the prime example as to what will happen to riders like Howarth and King if One Big League ever happened.

Liars? Mate you have no idea or neither do I how much riders really earn? But like I've said riders that don't double up still come back! You can't argue with that. IL have what your having jesus. You really think we should tell riders to RETIRE do you? That literally kills British speedway . The NDL would simply die . Every rider started off somewhere. Literally doing it for fun. Investing time and money for the hope they one day can make it. So would you get rid of the NDL? The fact you think riders like Lambert should retire is an insult to him. He's been a great servant to British speedway over years. Promoting the sport by taking his bikes into schools and never giving up. 

Your head is completely in the sand regarding the current state of the sport in the country. Your just so happy to carry on as normal when there are so many issues right now. Clubs are closing down every year don't you realise that? Your happy with that are you? For riders to double up and bankrupt clubs ? You haven't still answered my questions have you? Or anyone else's? Typical champagne premiership fan.

Why are you calling the riders out when you're now admitting that you've got no idea how much they earn?

One Big League kills British Speedway, Barely anyone cares about the NDL hence why it's woefully attended.

Also got Clubs coming back and maybe a few more in the future.

If Promoters want to put on the best product they possibly can during these tough times then I'm not going to complain, I pay my money to watch the Top Boys as well as the Best of British on a MON & THU Night.

I couldn't care less about CHAMP Clubs because CHAMP Clubs couldn't care less about PREM Clubs, It works both ways as the saying goes.

Surely.. One League 14 teams. 26 meetings minimum. 5 rider teams = 5 or 6 rides per night.
