racers and royals
So after the final GP on Saturday we now know that only Janowski, Kvech or Michelsen can realistically claim the GP 2027 place for being SEC Champion. Anyone else and the FIM/Mayfield get an extra wildcard pick from 3 to 4. Current leaderboard Madsen 34 Woryna 34 MJJ 33 Jankowski 33 Dudek 30 Kvech 29 Michelsen 28

Welwyn
Would love it to be Kvech, as he at least looked more competitive when he has come in this year. Nobody wants Janowski at this stage surely?

Nobody wants Janowski at this stage surely? I agree but I think the current points are just to far apart. It annoys me that only a non qualified SGP rider can progress via the SEC If the series is won by a rider already assured of a spot in SGP next year then the whole process is pointless.

It might annoy you but Onesport who pay a fraction for the SEC rights compared to the GP were muscling in on using GP riders in the series and this was a FIM compromise. Only GP riders that finish in the top 6 of the SEC standings can carry on in the SEC the following season- none can do qualifying or be wildcard picks. racers and royals
I have just realised that if the 5 GP boys wish to do the SEC again in 2027 then they need to finish in the top 6 in the final standings.
Hawk127
A decent meeting and the last four heats had some of the best racing. Well done to Leon Madsen. These individual meetings in Europe bring out the best in the riders and I only wish we had more individual meets in the UK with some real prize for being the winner. Dream on as far as that is concerned and thanks for the links for this and all the seasons meetings we are indebted to Racers & Royals and Stewmac for the valuable contributions that they make which enable many to watch European speedway. Cheers guys.
