  1. Was that Erik Riss or Freddy Hodder riding at reserve for the tigers tonight? the new Cowley kerb crawler.
  2. I’ve taken out the subscription on the Swedish league this year and on a few occasions he has properly missed the start completely. Like it’s a psychological thing. If Ipswich view him as a long term investment then they should try to help him. Gating is something that can be learned surely. He can clearly ride the bike but it’s no good if you a few bike lengths down by the backstraigh each race.
  3. The fine summer weather should bring out the fans tomorrow. If it doesn’t then it perhaps is a concern
  4. I wonder if Jenkins thought twice before taking the guest booking. How he performs might well swing the result
  5. Apart from when he pulls up at the back. Kemp isn’t a bad signing all things considered but won’t win you the league…goes missing when the pressure is on
  6. he cant gate. looks like he needs some help with his starts. the swedish league is also probably stronger than the UK with more Polish riders
  7. I’m not so sure. Edwards is now struggling along with phb at reserve whilst lynn’s are on the up. That and pace not riding might make it close
  8. Poor display from Leicester - who looked like a championship side - just glad I didn’t watch it live
  9. Doyle will be looking to put himself in the shop window for a swift return to foxhall in time for the playoffs
  10. Not a bad return from Kennett all things considered
  11. I’d expect mayfield to look to hold a GP at foxhall next year. Has a bigger capacity than the NSS
  12. Belle Vue splashing the GP cash on agent Doyle. Think this one will backfire…
  13. Speedway was profitable back then. Nowadays we fly in a load of riders from abroad
  14. It’s looking very wet on Thursday to be fair
  15. Better from bangs in Sweden tonight. Unfortunately he just can’t gate
  16. Good racing across the two meetings but I can’t but help feel two consecutive GPs at the same track isn’t a good for the sport. Maybe it’s a necessity at the moment given the economics. Wroclaw next so that’s 3 home GPs for Kurtz….
  17. Hoping for a BZ victory tonight. Anyone but an Australian really.
  18. Fricke was pretty ruthless in that first corner. Seen that from him before. He lifted shortly after BZ binned it. Had he done that before it might have made the decision more contentious
  19. Agreed. Kurtz is a bit of a one trick pony so needed to take advantage of two home GPs. I doubt he will have that advantage tomorrow on a wet track.
  20. Track won’t be race able tomorrow judging by those final few heats
