Postponing, not cancelling (check the SCB Regs).

Very surprised it was postponed based on the forecast, because everything indicated the afternoon would be clear - even the Met Office predicted that.

For info: there was a brief shower about 09:00pm tonight.

It's 'sun breaks' that annoy me.  Either tinted goggs, strip of black tape across the top, angle head down or utililize 'The Kelly Moran (Boulevard) method', take note: "When the sun is in your eyes as you go over the start / finish line, count 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi - then turn'. Wonder if this was a “tactical” call off. Doyle has been guesting for Sheffield lately and with Belle Vue’s meeting postponed the night before, and him living in Norwich and obviously being a track specialist, I wonder if the Ipswich management got wind of him guesting. 
 

I’d be staggered if Sheffield hadn’t asked him. As it is, rerunning the meeting on the same night as all the other fixtures again forces Sheffield in to R/R

As we know this fixture has been re-arranged for Monday 7th September then at home to Belle Vue on Thursday 10th. Is there still a restriction on the number of motor sport events that can be held ( maximum of two during and eight day period)? I mention this as Spedeworth have a stock car meeting on Saturday 12th.
