  1. You do realise that just because it’s an internet forum and you are using a Nick name, it doesn’t mean you can’t be sued for slander? I can’t comment on the actual test speedway does trackside as these tests differ but from my pharmacy experience for those thinking ‘oh a list is issued of banned substances’ it’s not really as simple as that. Medication can have things in it that you don’t expect - that’s how Alain Baxter lost his Olympics medal, he took a sniff of Vicks. some assume OTC meds are ok but that’s not the case - many common meds such as hay fever relief tablets can’t be used as it would make you fail the drug test. All that is before taking into account that two medications taken together can heighten the strength and effect of a drug - that’s why people used to take the OTC Co codamol with full strength Coca Cola. It is a minefield and from the basic information we have then it is probably best to wait for the lab results and comments before judging an individual. Even then though Bandits Fan, it’s wise not to open yourself up to slander accusations with random accusations Just my opinions obviously

    Leicester Lions 2024

so you will just make others guess potentially worse by a 'I know something you dont know and Im not telling you' post?
  3. It’s not a route I am familiar with tbh, I could easily have misheard. 3 and a half hours though is definitely a lot longer than you would expect tho!
  4. Took my friend 3 and a half hours to get from Greenock to her dads in Falkirk because of the flooding, weather and road closures. Usually takes 45 minutes. Track staff will have their work cut out to get the track ready for tomorrow night I reckon, no way it would be rideable today. for whoever it was coming up anyway, it’s the tattie howkin holiday up here this week so places should be open ok. Might be full of kids tho
  5. Cold? Its currently 14 degrees just outside Stirling - thats still T shirt weather (all be it wet t-shirt lol)

    Brandon Update

The NHS say could work for speedway. Building houses on even part of the site will put considerable extra strain on NHS facilities for the entire area. I assume (happy to be proven wrong) that the areas NHS facilities are currently stretched pretty much to breaking point as it is and would need significant investment to cope.

    SGP wild cards 2024

I’m not a fan of his but I genuinely feel that Fricke has been hard done by.
  8. He's been spending too much time with Kelvin - he either moaned when it was on or moaned when it was called off too
  9. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. I felt it was a bit early to call it off when they did especially given that the weather was forecast as it has been - a little rain earlier, nice clear afternoon and as others have said a perfect night for speedway as things stand just now. They need to stop looking at the weather forecasts given out from England and listen to Sean Batty or Windy Wilson as they are far more accurate up here. Could be costly if they run out of dates
  10. As we all know, any ‘stone’ they use is made of RAAC concrete when it suits

Phil Morris CEO of British Speedway.

Love how up bums himself up about his involvement of Bristol speedway as being 'most successful speedway track of the modern era' Didnt Bristol close in the 70's? As in 50 years ago? Guess I can claim to be 'young' then by his standards lol

When she asked him to spell his name I was waiting on him going C-H-R-I-S…..lol

Im not a fan of Phil Morris but he certainly did a pretty decent job in that meeting of standing up for speedway. Surprised he forgot Glasgow as one of the clubs who own their stadium.....

    Drugs - Just Say No!

you can’t even think of your own response, just plagiarise the first bit of mine! I just answered you claiming I’d never experienced adrenaline to prove you wrong - again! You like claiming a lot of things that are bull but try and pass yourself off as the ‘expert’. Still, I should probably stop feeding the troll I’m off to enjoy more adrenaline!
  15. I hadnt appreciated that the riders knew of the rule so Im setting on the reversing lights and admitting he has no complaint when it was given to him before the start of the series in black and white. I do think though now it has arisen, the rule has to be looked at for the sake for the sake of the sport. For a first offence and in practice only it should perhaps be a very heavy fine and relegated to last place in the qualifying. After that, well it would have to be what happened to Zmarslik

    Drugs - Just Say No!

Oooh hit a wee nerve did I? Dont like people pointing out errors do you lol Does the adrenaline of winning a national title, or of representing your country in two different sports count? Will it do for starters? Or maybe navigating in a rally car in one of the stages of the Scottish rally a few years back? Ooops you appear to be wrong again, never mind.

    Drugs - Just Say No!

Actually adrenaline is a hormone and neurotransmitter and a ‘natural’ substance to humans and many other species but keep trying
  18. Disqualifying a rider for that reason is an absolute joke, there is no credibility left in the sport. It stinks of manipulation. Moving on, that was an awful crash for Doyle. I hope all the treatment is precautionary and that he is not badly hurt and wish him well
  19. Vividly. He didn’t post to the world that he had paid for additional tests that cleared his name. I guess the lesson is wait until all factors are known before taking sides. Have they announced the disciplinary date yet?
  20. Quite a few with egg on their face…

    Drugs - Just Say No!

So rather than try to prevent a potential problem in an already dangerous sport, wait until someone gets hurt or worse than test? Riiight…
  22. I probably worded that badly, I wasn’t actually blaming the track and I don’t expect tai would either. I meant as opposed to him not qualifying for the semi’s by being beat by other riders
  23. Well done Vaculik. Gutted for Tai though, the track beat him
  24. I get that when you have a marketing hat on but as a speedway supporter it’s papering over the cracks. Speedway need more fans at the tracks not to have a crowd look good on telly for what will predominantly be an audience made up of speedway fans as it is. They need to look at why crowds are dwindling rather than how to make them ‘look’ better imo
  25. They reallocated some seats to make it look better for the cameras. That’s apparently why the bottom tier is empty
