Yes Bellego looked a reasonable signing until he actually got on his bike! Berge has a relatively poor average given his ability, typical of most French sportsmen he can be brilliant but too often isn't.
-
He wont be one of the best riders in the league, he is inconsistent and will not be a top scorer. A very risky choice but not the only risky choice is this team.
-
Dont remember him riding for Belle Vue, rode for Reading long time ago
-
His average is similar to other 3rd heat leaders.
-
They may get race winners but not away wins.
-
This is a good team and will make the play offs with ease,Janowski a spent force is a ridiculous comment. Harris has proved over and over again he can do it at this level, he is still a top rider in this league, Kerr is the best reserve, Tungate,Klindt and Wright will all hold their own at least, I think the Oxford track will suit them.
-
Tungate has a pretty decent average considering we had stronger riders in the league the last time he rode here. I think Oxford are going to have an exciting season with the riders they have chosen.
-
They have a rider who just won the Australian title, not sure how he can be regarded as a second string, Magic may not be as good as some of the number ones now but he will still do a great job for the team and Bomber is still a heat leader in my view, Klindt is a great gater and will win many races. I think this team are play off certainties.
-
Yes and if he carries that form over to the Premiership Oxford will have a great season
-
I would cashout if I were you!
-
I think he will be, I cant see him getting back to the rider he once was but I think he will be better and could be a very astute signing.
-
Starke will be better than maybe some think, I am sure he cant be worse than some of the other 4pointers and may prove many wrong.
-
Yes I would agree with that, better than some that have signed on a similar average.
-
Pearson got 4 yesterday, does that mean he will get 6 in the championship, difficult to compare scores in a individual competition to scores in a league. Kurtz and Pickering both got 8, does that mean they end up with the same average in the Premiership?
-
Buster only helps himself shock!!
-
Lisa said she thinks there was a fan who said it so I don't know why she would need to prove it.
-
You maybe right but having ridden at Ipswich he could be better now at tracks that take a little getting used to.
-
Personally I think Rew has the potential to be at least as good as Vissing over a season in the championship
-
Having ridden with Ipswich and been to the premiership tracks, I don't think the Championship tracks should be a problem to Rew.
-
Exciting times at Oxford this season, who wouldn't want to watch Bomber, Maciej and Charles Wright every week, might be tempted to visit myself and watch the occasional Premiership meeting.
-
As he hasn't ridden here for so long then re-assessed on a 8 point average would be fair. I think it is fantastic he is riding here and I will try to see him ride as much as possible, he was always a pleasure to watch.
-
Rew would be better in my view, he is likely to improve over the season, Vissing will not.
-
Maybe Rew can be tempted to ride in the Championship with Workington, i would have thought having Keynan and Tate in the same team would be good for team spirit.
-
I believe you have to ask for the reduction, as Maciej hasn't ridden here since 2015, a reasonable request I would have thought. Riders like Chris Holder or Tai wouldn't have requested a re-assessment as they would have been re-assessed upwards.

Any team not fully announced yet is probably scratching around for cheap alternatives.
