  1. For god's sake the NL Pairs is a SHARED EVENT, so is now in the correct section. It is getting very boring now your constant digs at the moderators on here Derek, if I didn't know you any better I would have had you down as a troll by now!

Well the statement by Roger Cearns shows the following quote from the application in September 2008 - "Held from mid March to October, each year, once a week, the sport like football is divided into leagues and families follow their local team (probably in this case the Kent Dons) at home and away meeting." The full link is here (scroll about half way down to the document STATEMENT OF ROGER CEARNS

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in Cearns' initial planning application. I'll have a search and see if I can find it.

One thing I am really not happy with is that he is more than happy to use the 'Dons' nickname if he gets going!
  5. Well as has already been mentioned, the EL and PL fans can quite happily find the threads for their shared meetings, so why should CL supporters be treated differently? Common sense would be for the threads to be started in their correct sections, then we wouldn't have to keep moving or merging threads all the time! Personally I agree with you on this one!!
  6. Derek, what exactly is your problem? Is it the Mods in general or just one? I am fed up with the constant moaning and whinging on this place, we have already lost one mod today, and I am seriously thinking about jacking it in too.

I seem to remember that when he retired from Speedway he took up working with Royal Mail and was a postman in Sunbury-on-Thames (just down the road from me). Also recall that he passed away not so long ago.

Maybe you could help me out here speedyguy? In my detailed list of riders that have worn the red and yellow of Wimbledon, I have a rider named N PIQUET that rode in 1949. Can you shed any light on this rider? Thanks in anticipation
