Good point - definitely Ipswich should get the league points

Why would they ? They want a play off place - bet Witches fans are pleased Chapman didn’t get his hands on there club or they’d be in the same mess as Lynn and Pboro

Perhaps some people would have more sympathy if dubious calls hadn’t happened in the past - yes I no this call off is for real but in the past there been some very dodgy call offs notably the pit gate incident. Ipswich should be awarded the points but then that’s unfair on season ticket holders .

Let’s hope the club can find a new promoter that’s the crucial bit without that happening with Buster in charge it’ll be more of the same old
  5. This me takes me back to the Micheal Lee days you never knew with if he was going to turn up or not
  6. I agree with what you say but with a new promotion Buster will still have some involvement the track won’t change as it’s all about stock cars at Lynn - I’d like to see a new stadium owner as well I really think Buster has reached the end of the line - in football we’d say he’s lost the dressing room in speedway he’s lost the fans it’s time for him to sell up and let someone else run the stadium and speedway and stocks .
  7. Definitely should be it’s cheating the paying public and could cost Louis a fortune in a big home win and a poor crowd
  8. That’s all but ended any interest in this meeting then .
  9. Wasn’t it to do with Jack Holder allowing him to race for Torun when Pboro had a meeting think may have been the championship 4s he missed
  10. Was thinking the same would it affect Lynn crowds and you got the same visiting teams not just twice 4 times at the same track - Mildenhall could be an option but again how many would travel ?
  11. That’s not what everybody wanted to hear sadly - it seem track share is the only option short term but how well would that be supported? If it was KL they shared how many panthers fans would travel ? They might get some locals attend I guess . But not ideal at all
  12. Why didn’t you sign him after heat 1bend 2 meeting 1 of the season ?
  13. Or will Andersen switch to KL
  14. Great team spirit there that’s for sure .
  15. That’s that theory out the window then .
  16. We had characters in the sport in years gone by now I can only think of Nicki Pedersen - in the past there was Kenny Carter and most of the American team Carter seemed to dislike especially Bruce Penhall - that American team of the 80s plenty of young girls thought they was fantastic- at Kings Lynn we had Ian Tiddler Turner a character if ever was one - but nowadays can only think of Nicki
  17. Definitely needs something more to attract younger people 15 heats isn’t enough 15 minutes racing spun out over 2 hours for £22 - why does Stock Cars get such big crowds ? Weekend racing might have something to do with it I guess they seem to advertise stock cars with posters .It’s as if most speedway promotions have given up run out of ideas .
  18. Even the social media bubble seems to have burst Kings Lynn Twitter and Facebook pages get little comments compared to a few seasons ago that could be down to the age of most of the punters I guess .
  19. It’s a £15 sport at the most for many once it went over a £1 a race they stopped going now it’s way over that price £22 doesn’t represent value for money we are talking 15mins racing I use that term loosely. Everyone wants to see their team win of course but going home after a great nights racing even if the team loses I can take that . Not sure what the answers are at KL the track surface isn’t going to change the admission prices are not going to fall and it’s always a team on a tight budget . So how does the club attract fans back ? Or even keep the ones they still have ?
  20. He can’t wait to of load the two clubs he already own ( for a very good rate though ) in all honesty who in there right mind going to buy a speedway club ? Unless it can be off set against income tax really can’t see who’d buy and I’d question there sanity
  21. Lynn have called meetings off in the past when the sun has been shinning and no rain so nothing would surprise me .
  22. That is crazy 8 home meetings before 31st August yet had several weeks with no racing Pboro just like Kings Lynn are well out of the play off places but these meetings which both clubs have will have an impact on who finishes where in the top 4 so they are important to be run before the cut off date
  23. Cheaper to kick the can down the road rather than run this meeting 14 riders to pay for Buster with this one - if the weather is iffy bound to put some off attending .
  24. The leading question for me is would it be better to put Premier - ship speedway out of its undoubted misery ? And start again maybe two seasons with one big league then see were we are at after that if enough interest split and have league 1 and league 2 - speedway had a chance to re invent its self after Covid but came back with the same old .

    Pboro vs kings Lynn

Absolutely you are correct- but least when it’s re arranged it not be on tv I wouldn’t have thought so attendance should be higher- also a double whammy two meetings in 3days to pay riders for - so can see why it’s been called off
