Maui County is suing energy firm Hawaiian Electric, saying it failed to turn off electric equipment before wildfires started on the island.

In California, power lines have been blamed for half of the state's most destructive wildfires.

No, they knew from weather reports that storms were coming, and it is advisable to turn off electric equipment or it might cause a wildfire

Try and educate yourself before posting. It helps. Not that much can help you out of your conspiracy trap nowB)

    Well better than you

You ask a question. I give you an answer. Then you post that I never answer questions

That must be the classic how to make yourself look an idiot post :t:you got the prize today

  3. Adding a smilie at the end of your posts don't make them make sense

You got owned live on the net

You are the one parroting classic lines. So much so, that they even have loads of memes about them (see above)

I wonder if the power company in their defence will tell the judge 'do your own research' ?

do some research your self find out who was the chief of police, on that island. you do have a wild imagination dont you.

    You have some mental problems

You ask a question and get an answer. Give a childish clueless reply. Get caught out

Then say i don't answer questions, when i already did, and now we just get more and more nonsense as you can't dig yourself in that hole quick enough, and end with the classic conspiracy loon answer of 'do some research'

Showing yourself up is your hobby

I answered your question. You didn't like the answer and replied with what you thought was a real clever clogs answer. It turns out, it was a bit of a stupid answer, and i told you why and now you are throwing toys out of the pram left, right and centre

What do they argue about? He rode for Wimbledon for 18 seasons and then turned out twice for Coventry in 1974.

I have often heard arguments in the pub about this one. Usually people who confuse sportsmen with the same name, saying 'don't be ridiculous Ronnie was too busy with his career at Tranmere to do speedway as well :D

just to add, did you know that a well known tyre manufacturer had a chip in tyres that showed when a rider is/was overweight.

Funny I was only watching a bit of the Latvia GP on Eurosport yesterday . I don't normally bother, but saw it was on. And was shocked to see a pre meeting interview with Scotty and Anders Thomsen and their legs would shame a pigeon !!!

  10. Not saying you seem to be the sort of person that believes any two bob crazy conspiracy, but you do

I mean it seems you are not only scared or is it obsessed with trans people, but you even admitted the other day you were scared of using cards to pay. Yet they, if they are as powerful and clever as you think, can track your every move with the mobile phone, the chip they planted in your car or motorbike or even pushbike, or even if you have ever had surgery etc in your body. They can monitor every transaction made in every shop or sporting event. They can even follow you by drone or satellite and can listen in on every convo you have had in your life.. If you are of that persuasion.....B)  And you even announce on here where you are going or not going !! :D

I wasn't aware speedway (or any other) authorities could stop someone competing at different sports?

Surely if you have failed , for whatever reason a recognised drug testing process, then the ban would be for any sport that recognises that process ? You can't just fail a drug test in one sport, then go over to another and start as if nothing has happened ?

Perhaps it should renamed the Commonwealth Final and you could have Doyle and few other decent riders in the line up and likewise the Australian Championships could invite a few Brits. Hold it at a weekend when the Poles are not racing and you might get an improved attendance. As it is only track locals locals a few waifs and strays from other tracks will make it on a weekday night. Devalue the product by attendance and race day and you have the best they can come up with. Says all about those in charge.

Does it need to be renamed ?

Many national championships have foreign riders in them, including the Australian championship, i seem to recall

There have been a number of comments about racing on tarmac. When Wimbledon stadium was in its last months Spedeworth, the stock car promotion, had a number of speedway riders have a last ride around the track during a stock car meeting. Gordon Kennett showed everyone just how to slide around the bends on a tarmac track and looked as if he was on a slick track.

The video is on YouTube https://youtu.be/72e5JMM3abI

Yes, well done to Gordon. Been out a long time and was the only one really giving it a go. Sure my cousin was also out on track with him. But nobody is going to pay good money to watch 4 riders going round like that, surely ?

  14. The concrete meeting brings another problem to mind

A rider on a dangerous track is the last one left in a heat. Poodles around and gets excluded for not racing

In a proper speedway meeting, individual title. Two riders are out in a race off for the title. by chance before the race off i went to the toilets and on my way back passed both and overheard them agreeing to put on a show....now they went out and raced side by side and were popping wheelies and the ref ignored it all

I felt more robbed by this than a single rider on a dangerous track taking it easy and just getting the 4 laps done

  15. And as i have mentioned before i watched a meeting indoors on concrete (with some sort of sand top surface) and it was absolute carnage. In the end they didn't have enough riders to fill the heats, and one rider, the last man standing in one heat got excluded for not racing !!

It was a bit of a surprise, as both Matten Kroger and Stephan Katt both beforehand said they trained during the winter in an old warehouse. But maybe training and racing are different. Or the sand on top of concrete was the main problem. But outside, any dust or dirt and then rain on tarmac or concrete would also be a major problem
