  1. Someone told me earlier today that the stadium is being used v early on in the Olympics and that it will take a month either side to sort out, hence the date change....
  2. Definitely true - the press release was put on the SGP App this morning. Saturday 25th August 2012 and a new 5 year deal has been signed Early bird tickets now on sale with savings of up to 15% before 31st Aug this year all info taken directly from SGP App for iPhone

    Cameron Heeps

Thought he looked very good, quicker and tidier than Heeps and more physically developed. EDIT That was Baggy by the way
  4. I think it would be rude not to
  5. That's what I said!!!!! I'd be very shocked not see a Swedish team of Lindgren Jonsson Lindback J Davidsson Zetterstrom.
  6. First thought on the meeting - It was cold!!!!!! Second thoughts - It was beyond cold!!! I'm still cold the day after!!! Racing wasn't amazing but what do you expect in December!?! I got my fix of the speedway smell and the sound of bikes so I went home happy! As an honourary Kings Lynn fan for the day, I thought the result was great too. Good old Dools looked a class above (except when being beaten by Jerran Hart - who also looked pretty good) Lack of fire extinguiser was a poor effort though - as others have stated Ben himself could very easily have been on fire - for him to have to run around like a headless chicken trying to put the flames out is a really poor showing by the Ref and the Marshalls!!
  7. they can never be 100% sure surely?! But it sounds like its got a really good chance! See you all there!! ps - any locals got any recommendations for decent places to eat before the meeting?
  8. Got this one marked on the calendar. Hopefully it will be a decent field and we can all get a mid-winter speedway fix whilst having a few festive beverages.

    Wildcards 2010

Hmmmmm - I just put this on the 09 thread that has jumped up somehow..... Apparently Ed has pretty much confirmed at the NSSC tonight that he's been invited to take a place and that he will be taking it up.....!!!

World U21 Final 3rd October Gorican

Except Tai didnt! As has already been mentioned he jumped the tapes last year! Tape touching is not bad luck! Its rider error! As much as I would have liked Tai to get a result from this meeting he was not unlucky! It was his own error and he only has himself to blame! Harsh? Probably. True? For sure! Saying that I hope he gets a GP spot as hes an awesome little rider and will be the pride of team GB over the coming years! Now for Mr Ward..... What is there to say? The natural successor to Crumpy as top Aus. The kid is amazing! Hopefully our local press will pick the story up and we can get a few more through the gate on Monday! Well done to Paddy toooo! 3rd is a decent result - wish id know I could get 16's on him before hand as id have a few £'s each way!
  12. I was stood with them but i have dark hair!! the blonde was Mrs Bagpuss!!
  13. 94million miles....224 miles.....whats the real difference?!
  14. It's a shame Ipswich is about 94millions miles away as this looks an awesome match!! Wonder if SKY would be interested in showing this? With all their favourites riding it could be a good call!!
  15. It's called being passionate and wanting to win.....a trait that most Brits simply don't have!!! Darcy is a little star (no pun intended ) and will be more successful that any of his British counterparts! There is no bigger strop when he loses that a certain Aussie gonna-be-three-times-world-champion - These young Aussies learn from the best
