So the champions elect start their campaign with a tough opening fixture against last year’s fortunate league winners. Looking forward to speedway getting going again at the home of Scottish Speedway although unfortunately I’ll need to take this one in via stream. Let’s hope for some sun.
Edinburgh Monarchs: Pickering, Fredriksen, Thomson, Castanga, Sedgmen, Coles, James
Possilpark Tigers: Harris, Pearson, Flint, Starke, Worrall, Complin, Pijper

Hadn't appreciated he was down at 4.00

What’s his average? Looks like things have move/been taken down from the SGB website

Would Borke fit? I know there was chat of him at Berwick but he isn’t going to fit there now.

I’m sure I’ve previously downloaded fixtures to my calendar. Have I imagined that or does anyone have an idea how to do it?

No team will refuse a woman who is better than the men, if it helps them win. They just need to reach a certain level first.
I would respectfully disagree. It takes something like this for other teams to sit up and take note. It’s a real shot in the arm.

Building a cosmopolitan and entertaining team.
Celina could gain massive Main Stream Media interest.
100% clear though she is worth a place on merit. To be fair she is half a lap better than any current British girl
Let’s turn that into a positive though. This gives the female riders in this country something to aspire to as gaining a team place in the championship is now on the cards.

Brilliant move by Workington - I’ll definitely be making an effort to get my little girl along to see her ride. Excellent stuff.

Seems like a wasted effort bringing him in last year to gain experience if he isn't going to be included in this year's team. Paring Paco with Kye this season won't help Kye at all but pairing him with a quality team rider like Vissing would help him a lot and would leave space for Borke to return as the number 2. Kye and Claus would be a far better 3 and 4 than Glasgow's pair Flint and Starke if Claus becomes a Monarch. Also, the second heat leader has to be Riss because Sedgman would be a really underwhelming signing imo (ask any Glasgow fan if you don't believe me)
1 Pickering 2) Borke 3) Kye 4) Claus 5) Erik 6) Coles 7) James
Really strong team but Paco will definitely be back and it appears we’ve maybe dithered too much and Borke has been offered a team place elsewhere.

Edinburgh Josh Pickering 8.63 Kevin Wolbert 8.00 Kye Thompson 6.48 Paco Castagna 5.30 Lasse Fredriksen 4.57 Connor Coles 2.63 Max James 2.00 Total 37.61 I’d take that team tbh. Would need Thomson to really step up

Disappointing. I’d like to see him back.
-
Still a bit to play with. Any obvious candidates if we go with Sedgmen and Riss? I feel Paco will be included though so that kills that notion.

An absolute steal on that average
-
I'd 100% take Riss before Sedgmen but not distraught at the thought of having Justin back.
-
I'm not sure Josh was too impressed with the situation Cookie left him and the rest of the team in last season so i'd be surprised if he wanted to ride with him again.

Just saw a replay of ht7 on Twitter. It’s shows exactly why we’ll struggle with Paco and Kye as a middle order pairing. Kye has the chance to be really hard (but fair) on Hagon in the first lap and shuts off. Paco similar later in the heat. No disrespect to Sam but he shouldn’t be living with either of them at the moment yet he only lost second on the line.
