Why do SKY insist on both matches simultaneously? Why can't we just have one on the Monday and one on the Tuesday? Or is that impractical?

I am still lost in the wilderness and find it virtually impossible to attend matches these days Not a track within about an hour away and with racing on a week night, there is no chance of getting anywhere. I still hope this MK thing will get off the ground but I still think there is next to no chance of it happening

I had a copy, must have a look in the loft!! I'm still looking for a copy of Speedway Promoter.

Yeah sorry, that post does read like that doesn't it? I just meant that IF they weren't involved with another club, there would be no reason not to tell everyone all about it?

No further news at all does make this seem like its not going to happen. Why wouldn't the people involved want to make themselves known? Especially if they don't have any involvement with another club? The article seemed to indicate that they were hoping to be ready for 2015!? That seems like a tall order and I've no idea where that track might be built?

I cannot see it being there to be honest. Been zero mention of it throughout the greyhound track building and looking at this link, you can see you would be miles away from the action!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-21084618 Also, it is too far out from Milton Keynes. Still, lets hope a track does miraculously appear within the next 4/5 months in time for next season? Although I have my doubts.

This would be an absolute dream come true for me if this was to happen!! I can only hope this is the case? I must admit I find it staggering that people assume they won't get the crowds just because they didn't 20-25 years ago!! In 1981 the population of the Borough of Milton Keynes was around 120,000. Now it is over 250,000 I believe? The place is unrecognisable to what it was. Yuo may as well be talking about 2 different places!! I think it would be a good catchment area for NL racing at least right now. The nearest tracks are Coventry, Peterborough, Mildenhall, Leicester and Rye House. They are all pretty much 1 hour away minimum. I'll be there anyway so thats an attendance of 1 so far.....
